It is a beautiful apartment located in the heart center of the town. Supper clean, has everything needed, easy check in process. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Appartamento grazioso, nel centro cittadino, a partire dal quale è molto facile raggiungere ogni angolo di San Gimignano.
L’appartamento si trova in ZTL e non è raggiungibile in auto: anche con permesso bagagli non si può parcheggiare in Piazza delle Erbe, ma in Via Capassi, a circa 100 m in salita e scale. Con molti bagagli può essere scomodo; con pochi, è agevole. All’ingresso ci sono inoltre due rampe di scale.
Segnalo la presenza di parcheggi gratuiti con strisce bianche tra Via Matteotti e Via Gramsci, vicino al P1: non menzionati, ma consigliati, poiché con 5 minuti di cammino in più rispetto al P2 permettono un notevole risparmio.
Non essendoci condizionatore (vietato in centro storico), la casa è rinfrescata da ventola a soffitto e ventilatore, sufficienti. Non si può però dormire con le finestre aperte per assenza di zanzariere (consiglio fortemente di installarle per maggior comfort e aerazione).
Il soppalco è gradevole ma basso (attenzione a non sbattere la testa) e la finestra sul tetto non chiude bene, lasciando filtrare luce.
Note sulla pulizia: abbiamo trovato dispenser del bagnoschiuma vuoto, cassetta dell’umido non svuotata e un asciugamano con una macchia scura, quindi non perfettamente pulito.

This was a romantic rustic apartment that overlooks the square. The bedroom was in an attic balcony, the bathroom half way up the stairs. The kitchen was fully kitted out, with an old dresser loaded with delph, glasses and cooking equipment. We whiled away the time, just looking out the window, people watching.
The metal underside stairs could be dangerous when accessing the fridge.
