The location was great and the room was large and clean.

The room was nice and roomy and very clean/tidy.

There was no curtain on the bedroom window and a bright light from an outside street light kept the room light. Also the parking at P2 is always full until after 5.00pm so getting close parking was impossible, you had to wait until 5.00-5.30pm to get a park.

Highly recommended

The place exceeded our expectations. The location is just perfect a minute to the old town hall while it is located on a more peaceful and quite authentic street. The hosts were just great, and are setting example of italian hospitality done right. The appartment itself, just perfect! Equiped with everything needed, while the feel is, as they name says, homey and authentic to the San Gimignano old part. Recommended!

Perfect cozy stay in the center of San Gimignano.

The property is perfectly located in the historic center, while keeping a calm and quiet atmosphere. Restaurants, cafes and shops are only two minutes away on foot. The apartment is located in a historic building, tastefully decorated and surprisingly well equipped with everything you might need. The host Lucia was very friendly and helpful. All in all, highly re recommended!

The best little apartment!! Book it, you won’t regret it!

It was beautifully furnished. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the linens were new and very clean. Lucia left many wonderful goods for our stay. We ate breakfast there every morning,even frying eggs and making toast because it has all you need. I was able to even cook dinner once because the kitchenette is well appointed. Lucia was very attentive because she sent a message every day to make sure we were fine or ask if we needed anything. It was truly a great experience. Parked at Lot2 when we arrived and left 4 days later for 48Euros. The rental car was safe and I didn’t have to move! Walking to the apartment was a quick walk, even pulling luggage in the rain was quick and easy. She sends you the code to get the keys right at the door. Couldn’t be easier. I was concerned about navigating the steps…. no problem, as there are sturdy handrails and safe new steps. I wish I could leave 20 stars!!! Thank you Lucy! You’re the best!

Bijou apartment - very clean and seriously well stocked. Lovely touches with milk juice and butter. Host could not have been more helpful.

Would love a kettle as everything else was available ! (British thing !) parking a bit of an issue as was about 5 minutes away and was full !(but it did empty!)

It was close to the entrance of the wall city. Always found parking in lot 2, the closest lot. Modernized bathroom, very large bedroom for the area. Host was wonderful checking in with us and recommending places to eat.

Great place on a quiet street

The apartment was the perfect size. Very clean, and I loved that it was on a quiet street. The host had coffee, sugar, creamers, water, juices, and other things for me to enjoy, as well as plenty of soap and other toiletries. The host was very responsive to questions. I also had no issues getting the keys.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of a historical city. Great value for money.

Great location inside the walls of San Gimigano. The apartment isn't too big, but is very tastefully furnished, clean and nice to look at. We had no problems getting in or out. There's very little to fault here. We got some traditional welcome cookies. The space is very cleverly used and it's all very pleasant.

Breakfast was of the.. italian kind. Packed pastry of different kinds, milk, cereal. Enough to get you going, but if you're a savage like me, lack of savoury option was a bit of a let down, yet it makes sense when you think how the apartment is serviced. Parking is the bane of the city, not the owner's fault. P2 spaces start to get vacant around 22.00, or maybe in the morning. So that's that. P3 is some 10 minute walk.

The property is located right in the heart of San Gimignano, within walking distance from shops, restaurants, and sightseeing places. The owner was friendly and helpful. The place is very neat and had everything we needed.

The check in time is quite inconvenient as it was only possible to check in from approximately 6pm. If we wanted an alternative check in time we had to meet the owner at a very particular time that was not possible for us. The inflexibility with the check in makes it difficult for any tourists with luggage. We had to carry our rucksacks around all day.

Andrea and Lucia are fantastic hosts, and Home Sweet Home is a cosy piece of heaven in San Gimignano. They provided us with everything for a good breakfast (milk, butter, jam, coffee, sweet snacks, yogurt, toast, etc.). The house was very clean, and equipped with sheets, towels and soap. The bed was very comfortable and the house was entirely renovated. The house has a heating system, but no air conditioning. However, in our experience, given that it was the 3rd week of August, the fan was enough to make us use blankets during the night with the windows closed.

Perfect place to explore San Gimignano

Cozy little apartment perfectly located to explore San Gimignano. Everything in 5 minutes walking distance. Main sighs, shops and many bars and restaurants. The owners provide everything to prepare a nice breakfast in the apartment. It is absolutely clean and in a quiet street for good sleep. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I definitely will come again and can 100% recommend this place.

Appartement très coquet, propre et confortable, situé dans une belle petite rue calme, à proximité immédiate d'un parking (payant mais pas très cher pour un séjour de plusieurs jours). Ottimo soggiorno, appartamento ampio dotato di tutto quanto necessario. Posizione centralissima. Letti comodi, bagno ben arredato e confortevole. Cucina perfettamente funzionante con tutte le attrezzature del caso. Facile il check in e il check out. La proprietaria è gentile e molto disponibile. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

In alcuni momenti faceva un poco freddo in casa.
