Nestled within the serene embrace of a lush forest park, this was a wonderful couple's getaway at the secluded lodge

Wish there was a power off switch for the hot tub to turn it off at night to have a peaceful nights sleep without having to disturb the owner

Perfect to switch off

The cabin is modern and spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Robes and sliders for the hot tub, utensils for cooking indoor and outdoor, fresh eggs and a breakfast basket. The property is just across the road from the forest park where we took advantage and completed the waterfall trail, which is spectacular! 2 Beautiful, friendly dogs about the property who came to visit every so often and some chickens enjoying the space too! You can hear the water from the waterfalls and streams which is so relaxing! Cabin space is all very private and well maintained, perfect for some downtime on the hot tub! A fabulous stay and would definitely return! Thank you

Few niggles - Heater in bedroom a bit too noisy at night switching on and off to get to their temperature. Bed mattress also noisy when you turnover although comfortable.

It was cosy and clean the perfect night away to relax and recharge from daily life. Host was friendly and the dogs are adorable and well behaved.

Unfortunately we couldn’t make use of the hot tub for more than a few minutes as it was swarmed with midges and we got covered in bites even though we burned all the citronella sticks the host kindly left

I booked this getaway for my brother and partner. They really enjoyed their stay. They thought the location was beautiful and close to local eateries. They enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated that it was warm and useable on arrival
