Bed was really comfortable, homemade scones were delicious, really comfortable set-up with beautiful surroundings and in walking distance to the forest park.
We were not able to fully enjoy the hot tub as the midges/flys were everywhere, a citronella candel or some sort of repellent would have been helpful. Also the lodge was quite close to a busy road so we had to keep our dogs inside, maybe if there was a gate on the lodge entrance they could have chilled out of the decking (hopefully these are helpful suggestions)

the dogs upon arrival were a great addition and made our stay! The host was lovely and made us feel well looked after very helpful, lovely property and lovely scenery-hot tub was perfect
Though not the owners fault as im sure it was just an issue of time we were unable to order a takeaway round 9pm as places were closed or wouldn’t deliver so far, we weren’t sure what time they closed when we came down so just maybe a little info on that next time,however this didn’t make our stay any less brilliant and everything else was fantastic

Very clean and tidy. Beds super comfy as well as the sofa. Cosy.
Unfortunately our hot tub didn’t work so we couldn’t use it. We contacted the host and within minutes our message was responded to and the hot tub was looked at. A fuse had blew which meant our hot tub didn’t heat up and the jets didn’t work. Once the issue was fixed by the next Morning it was heated up and ready to go.
