Lodge was warm, clean, instructions on entry and hot tub management were clear and concise. The lodges were very private and peaceful. I appreciated the effort of the host to send details on nearest restaurants and takeaways in the booking chat as the lodge is quite remote. The owners dogs are really friendly and will come to welcome you your pups, this isn't a choice lol 😂 Was also great to find somewhere so special that accepted restricted breed dogs, we kept our doggos on leashes while in the outside space to respect the peace and privacy of our temporary neighbours
We didn't stay long enough lol As other reviews have stated, the mattress has lost some support and is likely due an upgrade. We had a lovely rainy night which got quite loud on the tin roof during the night, I had earplugs so I was fine, my partner not so much.
