The location was great - close to beach and central location

The first impression of the property was strong smell of bleach which was obviously masking strong smell of damp and bitterly cold. There was obviously someone in the property earlier who could have put heating on to heat the house up. We arrived at 3 pm and it was close to 9 pm before we actually felt warm . The kitchen is cluttered and could do with a declutter - needs a deep clean. The duvet smelled musty and needs washed. Toilet seat is broken and dangerous.

We would recommend this place for all ages, we really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good. Lots of essentials for cooking, a range coffee’s & Flavoured tea’s , also the cupboards had tins of food, eg. Beans, Soup etc. The use of a Fridge Freezer was much appreciated.

There was nothing that we didn’t like. It was ideal for all ages, every thing was there that we needed.

The house was lovely just a few disappointing things. In the kitchen and outside.

Beds uncomfortably. Dish washer not working. Broken off gate outside. Back yard very untidy. The kitchen needs a really good clean as cutlery draw has crumbs in it and the mugs and glasses needed washed. Before using.

The beds are very uncomfortable . The main bedroom beds squeaks and rocks once u lie down . We ending up sleeping in smaller room in the tiny bed

House was spotlessly clean spacious very warm comfortable & very conveniently located to all amenities

Had to contact the host as there was quite a bit of dogs dirt in the back garden that hadn't been lifted & a previous tenant had left a bag of rubbish & cigarette butt's at the back door Host was quick to respond & was agreed to stay out of the garden Communication and response times were excellent but feel this should never had happened

Very cosy and homely house

I loved the different facilities in the house that you were able to use for example, the golf clubs, tennis rackets etc.. deffo loads to do!! Also loved the little garden and seating outside for the sunny weather :)

There was still bath water in the bath and a pair of boxers over the radiator in the bathroom!

Great location and easy access to beach and town . Warm and cosy , good WiFi and selection of books and CDs.

As mentioned in another review the bathroom needs some attention. only a trickle of water from the hot tap. Shower tray cracked and badly patched up. shower head taped up high and not adjustable. ( glad there was a Bath ). Oven could have been cleaner. It is now !

Keys were not in a lock box and despite phoning the owner we did not receive an answer. We eventually had to knock neighbors door to find where the keys were normally located

Very comfortable, well equipped, home from home, close to beach. Perfect for getting away even when the pubs and restaurants are closed. Ballycastle is a beautiful place. Loved the quirky little touches.
