Ballycastle Holiday Home

Lovely home in a great location, close to the beach and the town. Dog friendly so we can bring our to wee dogs with us.

No issues at all.

The house is in a very convenient location with parking. The space downstairs was spacious and generously equipped, with plenty of comfortable seating and kitchen equipment.

The mattress of the bed in the front bedroom seemed to need replacing/upgrading. It was comfortable but the springs (?) were noisy if one turned over in the night. The bigger issue was the amount of light that streamed into the front bedroom - not surprising as there was only a very thin and narrow gingham panel/curtain hanging there. Given there were street lights outside and the movement of neighbours' vehicles emitting light this meant a very poor night's sleep on the first night. We then found clothes pegs the next day and improvised by pegging a blanket over the window aperture for the remaining nights which, whilst not ideal, was a big improvement. There was a blind standing in the corner of the bedroom. It was disappointing that it had not been replaced/fitted. We would have welcomed instructions about recycling and which bin to use for what.
