Great wee weekend stay.

The location and quirkiness of the property make this a real gem to visit. This is the second time we have visited and they have made some improvement to the seating in the living room/kitchen by adding two two seater sofas.

The place could do with new blinds in the downstairs bedroom as these were a bit weathered and let through some sunlight when closed on a morning.

No microwave not enough cooking utensils better er seating think it could do with half decent saucepans only two and they need replacing and frying pan

Very enjoyable. Property really in the heart of the town

Loved the location, was in Main Street close to everything. Owner was on site and answered any issues promptly. Was friendly to deal with . It’s a quirky property. Would be nice to sit outside in warmer weather.

Property felt a bit chilly, but owner responded immediately told us how to keep putting the heat back on, so maybe an information folder with this would be good. You might need to move your car about as it’s on the Main Street and wardens about.

Location was good. Quiet. Liked that the host came over when we had an issue connecting to the internet. I went to the pub to contact him and i said i'd go home and try again but he turned up to ensure we could log on.

Whilst the owner was there to check on the internet we asked him for help with the washing machine which he kindly did. We have noticed it at several properties that there are no instructions for the washing machines. Top loaders aren't what we usually use so it would be helpful to have a laminated card with some basic instructions. Other than that, all else was good.

Need to do a little welcome pack to explain how to use the cooker and other bits, just need a few new bits to make the stay better new toilet roll holder, new towels, new blind in the upstairs bedroom and the place would be perfect but we had a nice little stay

The layout, design, location, no disturbance. I got great tips from host about local restaurant.

Some advice. Poor quality towels. Bed quilt needs changing, slight damp smell. I was disappointed that there were no Irish tv channels.

If you want a relatively cheap bed for the night, in a good location, this is the one.

The location. Perfect if you just want a relatively cheap place to put your head down for the night. Good communication from hosts who made an effort to get us in the room earlier.

There was no extras e.g., no milk or sugar or shower gel. The sheets and towels were tired. Just no love or attention to detail. There was also something in the freezer that looked particularly icky! Not geared to the elderly. Uncomfortable and shabby sofa. If you don't want to spend any time there, in that you literally want to get sleep and go it's fine.

I would use this property again and it would be an even better if the small points were fixed.

Itwas a really handy location. A beautiful building and cleans beds and bathroom. It had TV's in both bedrooms which I wouldn't have expected. (although we didn't have them on!) I had a slight problem with the Wi-Fi which the host sorted immediately.

I would have liked a microwave and I feel that there were a few utensils missing. The sofas in the living area are a bit hard! The door entry system is not working properly. It does not close.

Lovely stone cottage just off the Main Street, very central but also set back and private. Bedrooms and bathroom both good size. Kitchen/diner very compact but well designed for the space. Nice wee outdoor seating area for good weather. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
