A perfect place to stay - a home away from home.

The location was central and easy to find, with sufficient parking. It was a pity that we spent so little time at the property, as everything is catered for - games, books, equipment, etc.

Lovely little home with all comforts.

Beautifully furnished, lovely garden & patio. Good WiFi, comfy beds, good shower. Fans in every room (including living room). Very good communication from host. Quiet neighbourhood, easy parking on the drive.

If staying longer, it would have been a bit too small for us 4 adults. A bit of road noise when windows were open.

Perfect Airbnb.

Down by the Riverside was the perfect Airbnb for our weekend stay in Blandford Forum. We were attending a friend's wedding locally and Louise and Barry couldn't have been more accommodating. The property was ready for us before we'd even left Cornwall, and they also gave us a late check-out on our last day, which was very much appreciated after a late night partying at the wedding! The house itself is lovely. It has everything you need, no detail has been forgotten. Down by the Riverside is cosy yet spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable, it was spotless and very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and can't thank Louise and Barry enough for being exceptional hosts. 10/10.

Excellent

Excellent location for walking into town and nearby supermarket, lovely garden and outdoor seating area, things left by the hosts were very welcome and the eggs from their own chickens were a nice touch.

The location was not quite "down by the riverside" and there was quite a lot of traffic noise during the day, but it was quiet at night. There is nothing that could be done to change either of these things and it did not in anyway spoil our stay.

Fantastic

The house is beautiful, very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, has everything you need, Close to M&S food market. One of the best places we’ve ever been. Barry and Louise are fantastic hosts, very helpful with great communication skills. They shared their free-range eggs with us which is a lovely gesture. We will definitely come back again. We highly recommend this place.

Knus huisje met heerlijke achtertuin

Prima accommodatie als uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van de kust. Niet groot, maar voldoende ruimte voor een gezin van 5. De tuin/terras is heerlijk.

Parkeerplaats is een beetje krap/steil, maar parkeren op de straat is ook mogelijk.
