Wonderful quiet location and super hosts.

Superb quiet location. Simple check-in and excellent communication throughout. The daily delivery of fresh eggs for breakfast was appreciated by everyone.

Relaxing in Dorset

We loved the setting. Our labradors had plenty of room to roam and it was so peaceful. The facilities were great with everything that was needed for a comfortable stay.

During our stay the road in was a bit precarious as the ditch was wide and made the road very narrow in parts. Also there was a campsite up this lane that had loud music on until late

Peace and quiet ideal to relax and unwind.

The quiet location was perfect but still close to everything you’d need like shops and the local attractions. The cosy feel to the cabin was amazing everything that is needed was to hand and it was so nice to sit out on the porch area it was perfect, there is walking right on the door step for the dogs the nice big heath land and then the forestry commission just a 10 minuet drive down the road. Lovely big area for dogs to play together and relax and also very secure if your dogs are adventurous.

Highly recommend

A beautiful cabin situated in a quiet enclosed location. The owners were really kind, lovely, helpful. Beaches 25/30 minutes drive. We brought our little dog and met their 4 little dogs. He had a wonderful stay too. We are going back next year, already booked.

Fab family break

We had a lovely couple of days at the cabin with the kids and dogs. The cabin was immaculately clean and you could tell the care that had gone into the cabin. It was well equipped with all we could need for our stay. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome and provided lots of extras for us like butter, milk, eggs etc. The huge secure garden was great for the dogs and the kids loved the trampoline. Lovely hot shower! Location was great. Overall it was a lovely relaxing break, I would 100% recommend this place and hope to visit again. Thank you Len & Luisa xxx

The breakfast provided was a lovely touch and a good choose to pick from. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need. A peaceful tranquil holiday. The host was friendly and helpful.

The lane to the cabin was a bit ruff. A few potholes.

What a lovely retreat that was! A beautiful cabin in a beautiful location.

A pretty, immaculate log cabin in a lovely location surrounded by nature. No sound of traffic! It was wonderful to wake up to bird songs in the morning, including cuckoos (real ones in a distance and the cuckoo clock in the kitchen)! The cabin looks exactly the same as in the photos on the website; you will not be disappointed. A very large enclosed garden where dogs can play freely. We had everything we needed. The living area was cosy and the kitchen was well-equipped. The help-yourself breakfast is a good idea; no time restrictions as there are at most B&Bs. I could feel attention to detail in every corner of the cabin. Len and Luisa are a proud host; they are friendly and helpful while they respect their guests' privacy. Holt Heath National Nature Reserve is within a walking distance from the cabin. An interesting and wonderful place to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay and would highly recommend as it’s a decent price for what you get. Couple of things are abit dated such as

Large spacious garden, decent parking for two large cars, clean cabin, ideal for people who want quiet time. Accommodating owners

No mention of the combi oven not working. Microwave only. Instructions we were first given were really confusing, would be helpful to give images of the lane next to the pub that you need to drive into. Also it is dirt tracks so just be mindful of potholes.
