About this house rental
A Barn conversion set in 14 acres of peaceful countryside where the only noise is that of wildlife. A river runs at the southernmost part of the land ideal for walks. picnics or for the keen anglers.
This 3 bedroom barn is spacious and is all on one level making it ideal for people with mobility problems. The main bedroom has a walk in en suite shower room with toilet and basins. There is a family bathroom that serves the other 2 bedrooms
The open plan dining/kitchen and sitting room makes sure that everybody is involved in meal preparation. The kitchen is well stocked with every day essentials. The log burner is ideal for those cosy nights in during winter.
There is outside dining with a bbq and seating and outside games are also provided. And of course a river runs through the property of which we have fishing rights.
If you don’t want to cook then there is a pub within walking distance that serves lovely food.

Anne & Mike were lovely helpful hosts from the time of booking and kindly left us a welcome food pack. Their 3 gorgeous dogs made our stay just that little bit more special. Our party of 5 had a great stay in the lovely, well equipped and comfortable barn which was accessible for an ambulatory wheelchair user.Fishing on the beautiful shaded riverbank was the place to be for a couple of us during the heatwave, whilst the rest enjoyed the gentle breeze through the lounge. We would definitely like to return…Thank you x

We cant put into words just how wonderful the barn is!Communication was fantastic Ann and Mick are such lovely people, very welcoming.The images really don't do the place justice, rabbits and deer were among our walks out and about. The stream and walks around it are stunning, even a bench under the tree for shade.The barn itself was fantastic clean, light and airy.The bed was so comfy and the walk in shower is amazing!Just a beautiful place to stay,

Stunning rural location, well equipped property, extremely comfortable, very welcoming hosts who were available with support as required. We found citronella candles useful in the evening outside to keep the mosquitoes at bay and had a very brief visit from a bat when we left the doors wide open in the evening. Definitely a place to revisit.
