Welsh Getaway Apartment - Town Centre

Everything was perfect we were provided with everything. Cleanliness was on point WiFi was also very good. My whole experience was exceptional.

Nothing everything was more than perfect my family loved there.

We chose this apartment on it's reviews and location for the Brecon Beacons and Bike Park Wales. The apartment on the whole was suitable for our stay. Upon entry it is a nice tidy apartment.

Upon entry we found a musty scent - an air freshener/diffuser would solve this and we feel it would give a nicer 1st impression. We found the sofa very uncomfortable and small for our family of 5 (children's ages 17, 14 & 11) and the additional chairs we're not suitable for relaxing in to watch the TV etc. The kitchen had mostly all we required, could do with a kitchen spray provided, and a colander for draining pasta etc, some baking trays, the grater was rushy. The oven wasn't clean enough bake directly onto the shelves, say for pizza as black grease came off on your hands, we purchased some foil to bake on and to use as baking dishes. The small (middle bed) was tiny and uncomfortable for our 11 year old boy, that he preferred to sleep on the sofa each night. The double bed was very uncomfortable, we had the most terrible nights sleep, each of the 4 nights and sore backs because of it each following day. Cobwebs along the ceiling line could do with a clean. The bathroom could do with a towel rail to dry your towels on. We could see screws that perhaps held them once but these haven't been replaced. Maybe a free standing one would be suitable! The shower is temperamental, it was either boiling hot, lukewarm warm or freezing at times too - it was hard to find a balance. Extractor could do with a hoover/clean from cobwebs. We purchased some scented Lily's, which helped the apartment become more welcoming and smelt lovely. Neighbours were extremely noisy - 1st night we had shouting in the neighbouring garden until 2am and then each of the nights after there was a TV on very loud all night long. An added bonus would have been to have some drinking bowls for dogs visiting. The main front door (street side) being locked was a worry for us over night, had there been a fire and we haven't had time to find the door keys to get out we wouldn't have been able to escape. Something to think about for safety!

The apartment was amazing just what we needed, it was lovely and clean. In the perfect location for us to get to shops easily and we was only half an hour away from the waterfalls. Can not fault this place in any way. I would definitely return.

The property itself was lovely, the beds were super comfortable and was a lovely looking place, the living room and kitchen were spacious and cosy.

Unfortunately the toilet seat was extremely loose and was uncomfortable to use as would not stay secure, the toilet roll holder was falling off and there was no towel rail in the bathroom, also the living room when we sat down smelt of cigarettes. Luckily it was a one night stay wouldn't have been good if it was a longer stay there.
