The apartment felt damp. We thought it possibly hadn’t been used for a while as this got better through the week. As we were visiting early in the season it will probably not be an issue during later May onwards.

Ci ha accolti il signor Angelo, una persona squisita che ci ha guidati all'interno della casa in orario per lui un po' scomodo ma ha voluto garantirci lo stesso il massimo dell'ospitalità. Siamo entrati e siamo stati accolti da una casa profumatissima e a dir poco linda in ogni suo angolo. I letti e le camere sono molto spaziosi, tutto ben illuminato, nessun odore di muffa, pur essendo una casa al pian terreno. Cucina pulitissima e profumata, con tutti gli elettrodomestici che troveremmo in ogni nostra casa, forse anche di più). Ci ha colpiti la ricchissima varietà di merendine (tutte di marche note e anche tipiche della zona), bevande in quantità notevoli, bottiglie d'acqua in quantità, cialde di caffè a non finire, birra e aranciata rossa a quanta ne volevamo. Mai vista una cosa del genere in una casa vacanza. La casa è situata in un punto strategico, che raggiunge tutti i luoghi storici e artistici in brevissimo tempo anche a piedi. Posteggi sempre reperibili davanti casa. Abbiamo detto al signor Angelo che ci trovavamo lì per seguire il torneo di mio figlio Vincenzo, che si sarebbe tenuto il primo pomeriggio lì a Siracusa. Ha chiesto dove giocasse mio figlio, addirittura ha voluto sapere quale fosse il campo. SORPRESONA: lo abbiamo trovato lì perchè ci teneva a fare il tifo per mio figlio. E questo non solo il primo giorno, ma anche il secondo (in realtà ha anche portato fortuna perchè mio figlio ha vinto entrambe le partite alle quali ha assistito. Si è scusato per non essere stato presente alla terza e infatti, mannaggia, lì la partita ha avuto un esito negativo. Ci è mancata la sua presenza e il suo tifo cordiale e gentile. Che dire. E' stata un'esperienza positivissima, che speriamo di poter ripetere quanto prima. Già il signor Angelo ci manca. Conserverò il suo contatto.

It is a large apartment., with high ceiling. The kitchen is new and well equipped plus it has a lovely outdoor area. The bathroom is new also and very comfortable. The rest of the house has comfortable furniture. The building is quiet .

The apartment is dark in general, has limited natural light. The kitchen and the bathroom need more light fixtures. The bed is not comfortable at all, the sheets were too small for the mattress. We were never told what we needed to do with the garbage or the plastic recycle. The apartment is far from any restaurants or supermarkets you need a car.
