Syracusia

It was spacious

Basement position, no external sitting area, bedroom door leading onto a very busy road, no easy access to a beach as per the profile pictures.

It was very welcoming to be met by the friendly host and her daughter and to be shown around the apartment. The apartment is absolutely lovely, very spacious, bright and well-equipped with a wonderful view of the sea and across to Ortigia which is only about 15-20 mins walk away. It has a large lounge with sofa, dining table and chairs and other items of furniture and accessories, all very tastefully styled. The kitchen has a large fridge and freezer and a full oven and washing machine. I would have happily stayed there much longer. Our host, Mary was extremely helpful and it was good to have her telephone contact number which proved to be very useful when unfortunately I fractured my foot during my stay. Mary offered to help in any way she could and helped with the booking of taxis.

Everything was perfect (except my accident)!

Highly recommend this accommodation. Spotlessly clean, all facilities catered for and a great location for walking into Ortigia and exploring this part of Sicily.

There was some traffic noise but nothing too bad.

Le confort intérieur et la propreté.

La proximité d’une route très passante ( bruyant côté chambre ) et le manque de vue ( appartement du bas ) .
