Romantic, cosy, clean with no effort with check in or check out.

The place was extremely clean with lots of extra facilities and condiments in the kitchen. There was also fuel for the fire. It was a perfect getaway for my partner and I. It would also be appropriate for families or groups of friends.

The downstairs area was a bit cold, even with the fire. The upstairs bedroom was warm with a good radiator. Perhaps there could be more heating downstairs.

Excellent location. The most beautiful Irish cottage and it was so pet friendly, the dogs loved being able to be in the garden. Outside in the sun was wonderful. Inside the cottage was so cosy and interesting to look around. Bed was very comfortable. I am currently looking at my diary to see when we can return. Thank you so much 🥰

Lovely stay in an iconic Irish thatched roof cottage with a turf fire.

Loved staying in a thatched roof cottage. The turf fire in the evening was a highlight for sure. We also loved the views and the sheep across the street. Everything was perfect and the host responded very quickly when I had a question. Would absolutely return if I’m ever in the area again.

The stairs to the second floor bedroom are steep so they may not be for everyone. Pulling out of the driveway onto the road is tricky because it’s a blind curve so care must be taken. I had my daughter go across the street to direct me when the road was clear to pull out.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing geological, botanical and mythological valley in Ireland

The house, a beautiful relaxing place to be in with the added bonus of a completely separate space. Gorgeous high ceilings in the kitchen and sitting room contrasted with the low cosy intimacy of the main bedroom. Gas cooker and beautiful bathroom, the books, the implements and the wonderfully warm atmosphere within.

The underfloor heating was too warm, both in the sitting room and in the bedroom. The path to the separate space had become a stream.

The cottage was beautiful and cozy. Perfect for a chill getaway from doing touristy things. The scenery was amazing and everything we needed was provided! The owner was available for questions and was very helpful!

Being from America and not being used to more rustic living, the water heating/starting a peat fire was new for me and my family. The owner did give instructions on how to do these things which was awesome but it was an environment where you had to work a bit harder to make it comfortable (but it felt like part of the rustic charm)

Sehr schönes Haus in perfekter Lage, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten per Auto zu erkunden. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer Straße, die aber während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht viel befahren wurde, und somit überhaupt nicht störte. Toll ist die Fußbodenheizung, die nicht oft in solchen alten Häusern verbaut ist. Überhaupt ist das Haus sehr liebevoll restauriert worden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt.

Era muy auténtica y con unas vistas preciosas en el jardín. El piano fue la gran atracción de mis hijos. La preciosa cocina y muy completa.
