Daffodil Lodge was a very quaint place to stay and we loved it! Was so nice of Mary to leave some breakfast bits and treats 😋 Loved the history of the house. Would definitely recommend to stay here, peaceful and relaxing.

The peace & quiet, the views ! At night you could see a most amazing sky full of stars , in the morning the birdsong was beautiful. The house was comfortable, warm , had history and great information about the area. The beds were very comfortable. Mary had provided food for breakfast and snacks very welcome ! Lots of notes about where to find things in the house . The shower was very effective, the house was extremely clean and well maintained, every need had been thought about. Thank you

It is a wonderful house, if you are looking to connect with nature this is the ideal since it is far from everything and it feels that you connect with nature

It has all the stuff that you may need during your stay. It really feels like an old Irish grandma’s house. Those who enjoys history (house was built back in 1918 and renovated), quiet living, will enjoy this place.
The location is too far for our liking. It is 20mins to town center. The old house is not suitable for our group (an elderly and a kid). The bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs.
