Lovely location - the village is only 2km away and has 2 amazing pubs - we had a great night with the locals and amazing hospitality from both pubs. Would definitely return to see the locals again and bar staff! Sligo is only a short drive away and 2 beaches. The weather let us down on the Sunday as our plans had to be axed but we shall return during the Summer.
I wanted a bath on arrival as l fell into the water at Rosses Point!! But the hot water ran out when the bath was quarter full and the electric shower wouldn’t stay hot!! The property was quite cold despite heating being on. The problem is all the heat escapes so we had to avail of electric heaters to keep cosy. Other than that everything was lovely - although the property - inside and out could do with some money spent on it - it has so much potential to be amazing.

We had the most beautiful stay at Daffodil Lodge. The house is full of charm, history, and the sweetest details — you can truly feel the love that went into every corner. Waking up to mountain views, quiet mornings, and even rainbows made the experience unforgettable. Mary, our host, was absolutely wonderful — so kind, quick to respond, and genuinely thoughtful, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The lodge felt warm, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. One of our favourite trips so far, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dreamy, cosy escape.
No complaints except the shower (felt a bit difficult to adjust the heat )

It has all the stuff that you may need during your stay. It really feels like an old Irish grandma’s house. Those who enjoys history (house was built back in 1918 and renovated), quiet living, will enjoy this place.
The location is too far for our liking. It is 20mins to town center. The old house is not suitable for our group (an elderly and a kid). The bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs.
