Location. Charm. Decor.

Quaint spacious cottage. Very private, down a rough track (only short). There were only two of us so only used the main bedroom. There are some nice original features. Table and chairs outside. Very quiet (no neighbours at all). But pretty quick access to the main road and all the nearby attractions. Streedagh beach is fantastic. Mullaghmore is lovely - we went on a great boat trip and saw dolphins and basking sharks - it was amazing! There's a lovely big shop - SupaValue nearly - really good quality. Also very handy for Benbulben which is a mesmerising hill. We did the forest walk there which was great. We stayed 5 nights and loved it. It was also very good value for money.

The track leading down to the property is slightly downhill so you do miss out on the views. But this is just me being picky. The property was very competitively priced so I can hardly moan about this.

It's a peaceful.and quiet location away from the busy main road and as I like nature and birds it has lots to offer here.It was very clean with warm duvets,stove for heating and good cooking and bathroom facilities.Bed was comfortable and warm .

I would have liked a TV and a washing machine. A microwave would be good also to heat food.The hinges of door in front bedroom needs a bit of oil as it creaks loudly during night visits to the toilet.
