Greystoke Mews

A quiet location next door to a busy pub but without the usual noises from a pub. The property has been decorated to a high standard and facilities in the kitchen are above what we’d normally expect. Fresh pint of Milkman milk in the fridge was a nice touch as it’s often what we forget to carry. We had a good nights sleep, just had to let the dogs in the garden and they were secure.

There were only 2 coffee pods for the machine - I wouldn’t have minded paying for a pack of a few more, although I carry some on the off chance, our machine is different.

Very clear, timely and pleasant instructions from host. Lovely quiet setting in the day surrounded by family homes and a paddock with horses. Nice, friendly pub within very short walking distance. Pretty village overall. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen and lounge had all the facilities we needed and more - absolutely perfect for our needs. Reserved parking close to property; very convenient overall - easy and ideal for our 1-night stay

Shower over bath was a bit basic vs rest of property. Bath sealant has significant patches of mould impregnation and needs redoing. A few bits of flaking paint in bathroom by the sink. In the kitchen the tea pot in the cupboard still had the remnants of the last person's tea in it. Plenty of towels on offer which is great - i feel like they need a hot wash though - they felt just off fresh, for want of a better phrase. Nitpicking a little bit but cars going past right behind lounge window was noticeable occasionally, as was the drunk England fans singing songs outside our window as they left the pub. Having a parking spot was fantastic but the one allocated to the property was against an angled wall which meant I had to have a couple of goes getting in next to the other SUV that was in the spot next door.

La location era molto bella, e gli interni erano molto curati. Apprezzato soprattutto in cucina la presenza di tutti gli elettrodomestici e accessori.

Consiglio in più per rendere top la casa, curare l’esterno del giardino.

The photos don’t do it justice, much bigger than what we thought it’d be. Well equipped, good communication prior to arrival and well situated. Great that it’s dog friendly and it smelt amazing, so much so had to get the reed diffuser details!
