Tired property that needs attention

There was plenty of space for the group.

The property was tired and needs attention. The furniture was basic and not very comfortable, beds and bedding was again tired and well worn, it could do with replacing. The owners need to look into doing some basic maintenance and repair work, the shower downstairs needs attention as they had tied a plastic bag over it to keep it in place and you could adjust the heat, making it very hot, to hot for the children to use. To top it off, the property was advertised as being dog friendly, however, when we arrived we were told dogs were allowed at £20 per night, with 2 small and very well behaved canines it put £80 on the visit for the 2 nights. All in all we considered the booking and the visit a mistake

Very kind hosts & let us in early. Extremely clean! Provided us with milk for tea/coffee. Lovely spaced beds. Great place and would recommend/stay again

Didn’t have TV remote- missing so couldn’t watch tv. The only downside is bathroom upstairs is a bit outdated compared to downstairs bathroom.

Great house, ideal location

The house was very comfortable and spacious enough for 5 adults and one dog. The bed rooms are all double beds but they were very comfortable and two bathrooms was also helpful when everyone was getting ready. The garden is enclosed so ideal for our dog to play in and there were spaces close by to walk him in. The house is in an ideal location- close to shops and also bus stops (20 - 30 minutes in to Town) but in a very quiet area. The communication with Sitra was excellent from the start any queries I had were answered and dealt with promptly.

Nothing but perhaps a suggestion to provide a folder with how to use the appliances in the house. We had this in another house we stayed in and it was really helpful.

Great place, close to town without the noise of a city center.

Very quiet. All 4 rooms were spacious. Beds all comfortable (softer mattresses for those who care), super clean.

I don't think you can fault this property. I would say, however, that if you were four sets of partners sharing, it might be a squeeze. Only 4 garden chairs and a maximum of 6 adults at the dining table. Also, only one car can fit on the drive, but we had no issues with parking on the road. And would be nice to have matching plates and a bread knife.

Good for a short term stay but needs the bathrooms cleaned immediately

Comfortably fitted all six of our family. Was well vacuumed and tidy downstairs and in bedrooms.

Beer bottles left on outside table. Didn’t see any staff. Black mould on upstairs bathroom ceiling, shower curtain and wall grout. Downstairs bathroom has dirty walls, floor and shower curtain with brown mould starting on floor grout. Kitchen door is a hazard to get into fridge.

Comfortable beds. Suited our 7 people and one dog stay.

The beds were very comfortable. It was great value for our 2 night stay. Not luxurious but mostly clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.

The kitchen could be a bit less cluttered and cleaner. Not terrible though. Cutlery draw wasn’t very clean.

Quiet street

Not the best equipped house we've stayed in, crockery & cutlery would be insufficient if the house was fully occupied Had to wipe kitchen down before we used it & clean sheet my bed, luckily there was clean linen in the airing cupboard Also a lot of cigarette butts in the gravel outside the house

lounge and dining area very modern. garden lovely. quiet room beds comfortable

upstairs bathroom needs upgrading, the handle is broken. kitchen needs more items. no cutting board , no carving or bread knives. washing up sponge was dirty we could not find any others. downstairs bathroom mirror had not been cleaned it was disgusting.
