About this house rental
Dear Travelers,
We rent our family home, La Corderie, in Montfarville (Cotentin) near Anse de Landemer, Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue, Barfleur, Cherbourg and especially several beaches (+/- 200m) where walks can be long or short.
The house has a living area of +/- 200m² that can accommodate a maximum of 12 people and has 2 floors. It has 4 bedrooms and a large dormitory, as well as 2 bathrooms. You will also enjoy a large bright veranda. Partly renovated, the house offers all modern comforts with an equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and TV box, Blu-ray/DVD player, wifi connection not to mention a ping-pong table, a table football, a small library (with comics) and games for young children.
Several parking spaces are available in the courtyard of the property.
The appliances and "useful" furniture for the stay include:
- a washing machine
- a tumble dryer
- a dishwasher
- an oven and a microwave and an induction hob
- Hair dryers
- an iron
- a vacuum cleaner
- two refrigerators (one with freezer)
- a raclette machine
- a blender

We are excited to announce that our family house, La Corderie, located in Montfarville (Cotentin) is now available for rent. Close to the Landemer Cove (Anse de Landemer), Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue, Barfleur, Cherbourg and even closer to the sea (+/- 200m), the house is spacious and is perfect for big families gatherings and reunions with friends, boasting 4 double bedrooms, a big dormitory with four single beds, a shower room, a bathroom with toilet, and two separate toilets, with a range of other amenities ideal for a comfortable stay.
The key features of the house are 2 spacious gathering areas (a sunroom containing a large dining area joined to the open kitchen and a second big dining room adjacent to living room with large well-functioning fireplace and a piano) and a lovely fenced garden just off the sunroom kitchen from where it is easy to keep an eye on the kids while you cook or relax at the table with a cup of tea. A separate utility/mudroom provides overflow kitchen storage (with a second refrigerator with freezer), a place to clean seafood, organize recycling and keep your muddy boots! The kitchen, bathrooms, and upper level have all been renovated recently.
