We love that we were close to all the coastal fishing villages and historical sites!

This was our first trip to the Normandy area and we were thrilled with the location of this property! We were on the beach! The area is a wholesome countryside on one side of you and a beautiful tidal beach on the other. Thank you to the hosts for providing a lovely home for visitors to rent.

Brilliant!

Relais des Îles Saint Marcouf was a joy. Beautifully presented, very clean and had everything we needed. Everything worked. The location is superb, right by the beach and we had a very relaxing week there while also visiting various military museums and watching part of the Tour de France. That did involve a fair bit of driving but we knew that in advance. Our hosts were delightful and we would happily stay in this lovely accommodation again.

The setting on the beach was perfection. Close to everything but away from any busyness. The house has everything you need.

We had an excellent stay. Attentive owners who contacted us regularly to see if we were ok.

The accommodation was in an excellent position - not far from St Mere Eglise and right on the beach. It was very clean and comfortable, except for 4 adults, the seating arrangement in the living room area had one settee and two wooden armchairs - these weren't very relaxing to sit in after long days out at the D-Day celebrations and ceremonies. However, it was still a fantastic place. The spiral staircase is very narrow, so it was a challenge to get a full size suitcase up the stairs, but once you were up there, it was fine.

Sadly, it did rain quite a lot whilst we were there and the upstairs bedroom has velux windows which couldn't be opened due to the deluge of water (it wasn't just light rain!). A fan would have been helpful for these times as it did get quite hot in this bedroom. Other than that, fantastic!

Beautiful condo on the beach, extremely clean, like new, perfect for our family.

Beautiful beach front condo. Immaculately clean. Everything seemed new. Hosts are very thoughtful and checked in daily to make sure we were ok. I would highly recommend and stay again. My children loved the shells and sea glass on the beach.

Beautiful property in a wonderful area to see all the Normandy has to offer!

The house is beautiful and comfortable with all the items you need to cook, relax, and enjoy this area! The hosts are very kind and helpful and addressed all our questions and needs. The children loved the upstairs area which was very spacious and comfortable. The weather was cooler so we only played on the beach and sand but we can imagine it's lovely in summer to enjoy the water too. There is a large patio and bbq and you are literally ON the beach! Overall I'd highly recommend this property for a wonderful time in Normandy!

Nothing- for our needs this suited us well to explore the area and enjoy the weekend there. A car is definitely recommended as you will have to drive to groceries and restaurants which are all within 5-10 minutes.

Beautiful stay with warm ocean waters to wash your cares away

Oceanfront - swimming beach. Very comfortable stay with all of the amenities required for a beach vacation. Tastefully decorated, quality linens, drying racks for beachwear, excellent proximity to town, unbeatable stargazing, serenity. Extremely thoughtful and gracious host.

Un séjour incroyable !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre week-end à St Marcouf, avec cette vue sur mer incroyable! On est juste face à la mer et la plage n'est pas bondée, seulement des locaux. Nous avions 2 logements car nous étions 10 mais nous avons pu manger tous ensemble car le plus grand logement était assez grand pour nous recevoir, la terrasse est très grande et il y a même une table de pique-nique juste à côté. Le barbecue était fourni. Les logements sont très bien équipés, bien décorés, c'est très propre, la literie est très confortable. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne bien. Véronique est adorable et prévenante.

Le téléphone ne capte pas bien mais ça permet de se déconnecter. Pas de commerce aux alentours. Il faut prévoir ou il faut prendre la voiture.

Perfekt für einen Strandurlaub in der Normandie!

Direkt am Strand, es geht nicht näher! Die Einrichtung des Hauses war modern und geschmackvoll. Es gab insgesamt zwei Toiletten und ein getrenntes größeres Badezimmer. Optimal für vier Personen. Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und ganz neu. Die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar und haben uns sogar Liegestühle bereitgestellt.

Geen zonwering op het terras. We begrepen dat een parasol geen optie is omdat gasten die niet optijd dichtdoen als het gaat waaien. Dus is het aan te bevelen dat een andere stormvaste optie wordt geInstalleerd.

Alles war perfekt.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand. Man hat eine wunderschöne Sicht auf das Meer. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Sie ist gut, sehr schön und gemütlich ausgestattet.

Gefallen hat uns alles. Gut zu wissen: Für Einkaufen und Restaurantbesuch ist ein Auto erforderlich.

Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und Veronique war sehr aufmerksam. Das Haus besticht durch seine Lage und der sehr guten Ausstattung. Die Halbinsel Cotentin ist absolut eine Reise wert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Danke Veronique! :-)

Durchatmen und Geniessen!!!

Das Haus No 4 war blitzblank sauber , die Lage direkt am Strand spektakulär - je nach Tide war das Meer 20 oder 250 Meter entfernt. Stille , Wasser, Wind , Meer !!!! Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail und geschmackvoll eingerichtet die Fotos entsprechen der Realität

Ein Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse oder ein paar Sonnenliegen wären der Traum !!

Een plek om ZEN te worden

Ik heb via WhatsApp uitstekend contact gehad met Veronique. Ik heb een pdf ontvangen (met mooie lay-out) met alle relevante informatie inclusief aanbevelingen van restaurants. Wat ik waardeer is dat de foto's op booking de werkelijkheid weergeeft. Het strand is de achtertuin en 's morgens zie je vanuit het terras de zonsopgang zien. Voldoende handdoeken in de badkamer en de keuken is ook compleet. Matras is stevig (voor ons ideaal). Parkeren op het terrein. De locatie is heel rustig en ideaal voor mooie lange wandelingen op het strand. Voor restaurants en supermarkten heb je wel de auto nodig.

De terrasdeur en het raam in de slaapkamer kunnen niet op kiepstand. Ik vind het geen prettig idee om (op de begane grond) met de deur/het raam 's nachts open te gaan slapen. Er is geen airco aanwezig.

Il manque sur le site les photos des chambres par contre un gros problème avec l’escalier en colimaçon pour accéder à la chambre Très étroit et dangereux pour des personnes ayant des handicaps Impossible d’y accéder pour ce cas

Excellent séjour dans ce logement malgré la tempête . J’espère y revenir .

L’accueil de notre hôte , la localisation : face à la mer ( avec un accès direct à la plage , génial !) . Même si la maison est petite , elle est vraiment bien agencée , très bien équipée. La chambre au 2 ème étage peut accueillir 2 enfants , elle est vraiment spacieuse . Il y a une terrasse mais la météo ne nous a pas permis d’en profiter. Parking privé disponible : pratique .
