Our stay here was very pleasant, in lovely peaceful surroundings.

The house was very pretty, and in a peaceful and attractive location. It was only a few minutes’ drive from the beach (albeit a very windy beach!), and close to Saint-Mere Eglise, which was a sweet town with a good D-Day Landings museum. The inside of the house was very clean, and we had everything we needed. The garden was lovely, and it was comforting to hear the friendly clucking sounds of the chickens next door! Jean, who gave us the keys, was really helpful and accommodating of our arrival and departure times. I would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a peaceful holiday in rural Normandy.

We have spent a wonderful week with the family in this newly renovated house. The place is very spacious and the garden is perfect for kids.

We got much more than we expected and had a wonderful time.

Wonderful, recently renovated house equipped with everything we needed. Large and spacious. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute in this great place. A perfect starting point to explore the Normandy.

My only suggestion to make things even better than they already are would be fly screens for the sleeping rooms.

Parfait

Le gîte est magnifique, idéalement placé, calme, spacieux, très bien isolé et chauffé. Tout est très propre. Le salon, la salle, la cuisine sont spacieuses. Une entrée avec porte-manteau On peut se retrouver en groupe et aussi s isoler à loisir vu le nombre de pièces. La literie est très confortable. Les chambres spacieuses avec chaises, chevets, meubles de rangement, volets électriques. Les 2 salles de douche spacieuses, les 2 WC indépendants. La cuisine et la salle à manger, le top, rien ne manque et quand rien c est rien ne manque, jusqu au couteau à beurre, c est vous dire. Au contraire moulte poêles, casseroles, faitouts, pieds à soupe, service à raclette, plancha, couverts, assiettes,...tout y est à profusion. Dehors, jardin magnifique avec barbecue, terrasse. Cour d entrée où l on peut garer 4 voitures sans soucis. Le propriétaire, Monsieur Le Carpentier est très accueillant et discret. Nous avons tous l habitude de louer des maisons de vacances, c est la 1e fois que nous tombons sur une perle pareille.

La cheminée qui n est pas en fonction mais ce n est pas indispensable
