About this chalet rental
WOID = the Bavarian word for “forest.” Located in the beautiful Bavarian Forest and offering panoramic views of the stunning woods, this word has a double meaning for us. Our chalets are run with care as a family business and offer space for up to 5 people across 100m². Each chalet also features its own outdoor sauna, a hot tub, and a large panoramic balcony that opens onto a private garden. We want our guests to feel right at home with us.
Our Chalet WoidGlück is designed for large families. The chalet offers space for 5 people across 100m²; it features one bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with an additional double bed plus a loft bed—it’s truly very cozy. This house also features an outdoor sauna, a private hot tub, and an open-concept living-dining area with a wood-burning stove. Additionally, there are two bathrooms, each with a shower, ensuring there’s no crowding even when multiple people are staying. The centerpiece is the large dining table with a cozy corner bench, perfect for family games or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Welcome to your personal oasis of relaxation in the Bavarian Forest! Our two exclusive, detached 5-star chalets, “WoidLiebe” and “WoidGlück,” each offer 100 m² of luxurious living comfort. The chalets are staggered along the edge of the forest—so you can enjoy complete privacy, unspoiled nature, and a breathtaking panoramic view of Bodenmais.
Note for groups: Since the chalets are located next to each other, they’re also ideal for joint vacations with families of friends or multiple generations (up to 9 people total).
The Chalets in Detail (Beds & Layout)
Both chalets offer the same high standard of quality and differ only subtly and tastefully in their bedroom furnishings:
Chalet WoidGlück (up to 5 guests): 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 double bed plus an additional bunk bed).
Chalet WoidLiebe (up to 4 guests): 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 set of two single beds—which can be pushed together as needed).
Living & Comfort: A light-filled living area with cozy underfloor heating in every room. The wood-burning stove creates a genuine cabin atmosphere (firewood is included). You’ll also enjoy excellent, natural mountain spring water.
Bathrooms & Laundry: Two modern bathrooms per house help avoid morning stress. Each house is equipped with its own washer-dryer combo. Bedding (already made), hand towels, shower towels, and sauna towels are included (please bring your own bathrobes).
Your Private Spa & Garden Oasis (use fully included)
Each chalet features its own private wellness area in the garden—completely independent of opening hours:
Private outdoor hot tub: Heated year-round, covered, and separable with a curtain for maximum privacy. Highest hygiene standards: The water is completely replaced with every guest change!
Private outdoor sauna: For soothing steam treatments after your excursions.
Outdoor area: Large terrace with private garden, cozy lounge set, sun loungers, and a high-quality gas grill.

As a bike-friendly accommodation, we offer the perfect facilities for your expensive equipment:
Secure & Lockable: Your own lockable shed for your e-bikes or skis.
E-Bike Charging Station: Free overnight charging of batteries right in the shed.
Bike Service: Essential basic tools and a pump are available for minor adjustments.
