Dog friendly home close to the beach and the town

Beautifully decorated, well equipped, easy walk to the beach.

Would have liked an option of lighter quilts as very warm at night

The house was spacious. Loved the table in the kitchen so you could chat and cook and the beds were comfortable. Could walk into Exmouth and to the seafront. Dog friendly too.

Beautiful house in excellent location, central but quiet. Very good quality fittings for a rental property. The owners were very helpful and communicative.

Beautiful big house, plenty of room

My first impression was it is a beautiful property and it was very clean but also homely. I loved that things like washing up liquid, dish cloth and tea towel are provided in the kitchen. Also loved the welcome gift of milk, biscuits, crisps, wine and beer. Tea and coffee were also provided. Kitchen is well equipped, including a smaller cool bag which was great to take to the beach. Loved the range master cooker too. For the dogs, a very small water bowl is provided but you’d need to bring your own if you have a bigger dog. It was fantastic to have a fully enclosed outside area. The hose outside was perfect for washing dogs (and sandy feet) off after a trip to the beach. There’s a great back room that the dogs can sleep in at night and get access to from a side door if they are still a bit damp. All in all everything worked brilliantly. It was a little chilly on the first night but we easily worked out how to put the heating on. Clear instructions were left for everything from heating and hot water to the fire. Beds were comfy with linen and towels provided too. We loved playing board games and it was great to have a decent tv to watch a film. It was also fantastic to not use the car. The beach was 6 minutes away and restaurants in town were also only a short walking distance with plenty of choice.

Loved the house very clean and great period features, super location and great secure area for the dogs.

Small thing but could do with a lock on the bathroom door.
