Luxury House in Bologna Marchesana 100 mq

One of the best properties I’ve stayed in. Exceptionally clean and well maintained with all details well thought out. Very comfortable beds and good size overall for our family of four with plenty of storage. All very well equipped with all amenities provided for. Everything worked perfectly and the kitchen was very useable. Accessing the apartment was super easy and all information was given to help us. The location was incredible, right in the heart of beautiful Bologna and close to all the restaurants and shops.

The restaurant and bars were a little noisy on our first night (Saturday) but this was the only night it was an issue.

Bologna is an amazing city, young vibrant but with all the historic charm, amazing food and things to see and visit. The apartment was very much like this also. very modern interior with an historic facade and internal courtyard. Kids loved it, especially the youngest with the mezzanine bedroom. You are a stones through from Piazza Maggiore and all the great plkaces to eat and shop, highly recommend it for the location and quality of accomodation.

The one draw back of the property, is that one aspect is directly looking into an archway and walkway above two restaurants, which have outdoor seating underneath the archway, and in the evening until lates past midnight, until 1am/2am it can be noisy. The noise from people enjoying themselves echoes through the archway, so that in enhances the noise. It is only an issue in the bathroom and one bedroom. if you have children or are with adults who have sensory issues or are light sleepers then it may not be suitable. We did struggle with our daughter the first night, but we moved things around between rooms and all was good thereafter.

We stayed for 3 weeks in Italy travelling around and this was by far our favourite accommodation. Location was incredible, we walked everywhere from the apartment with 4 small children so if we can do it then so can you! Apartment was exceptionally clean and really well thought out storage. Everything felt considered. We also found it quiet in the evenings provided the windows were shut. The mezzanine bedroom was a really creative use of space and the shower was fantastic. Cannot recommend enough. Superb apartment and a fabulous host
