Dimora nel Cuore di Bologna a 2 min da Piazza Maggiore

Schöne grosse Wohnung, 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Nasszellen, Küche mit allem was es braucht, 3 Klimageräte, super zentrale Lage. Cafe, Restaurant, Markt alles vor der Haustüre. Wir weden wieder kommen. Kontakt mit Edoardo der Vermieter war sehr angenehm.

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt und die Größe der Wohnung.

Die vielen Lichtschalter in der Wohnung waren eine Herausforderung 😅.

The apartment was perfect. It was spacious, clean and very close to Piazza Maggiore. I loved the sound of the bells, markets and restaurants coming in the window it was exactly what I had imagined staying in Bologna would be like.

Wouldn’t change a thing.

The apartment is very light and wonderfully spacious, with a huge comfy sofa, a fully fitted out kitchen with all the things you could need to cook up anything (we didn't, as only staying for two nights we ate at the local places in the street below) and great comfortable beds. The bed linen was cool crisp brilliant white cotton and there was an abundance of equally bright white towels. The whole apartment was spotless and that for me is everything. It was a real treat in the mornings to open the windows that overlook the narrow pedestrian street below and watch the vegetable and fruit stall holders set up for the day and catch the light in Piazza Maggiore at the end of the street. Of an afternoon or evening the same street is buzzing (not noisy) with activity as the restaurants are open and the outdoor tables are laden with platters of local sliced meats and cheeses and glasses of wine and happy visitors. Another reviewer wrote that it's a foodie heaven and it is. Even though the street is clearly a tourist haven, we enjoyed great genuine food at good prices with excellent friendly service. What I hadn't appreciated from the apartment details is that there are in fact two bathrooms. One with a lovely big sink, a bidet and a toilet, and the other with the same but also a shower. So, I guess the first can't be called a "bathroom" as there is no bath or shower, but for just the two of us staying it worked so well: we each had our own space.
