Lovely old traditional Inn

Our room (number 1) above the pub was impressive - just glad we stayed on a Tuesday night when there was no live music - and they must have spent a fortune on the refurbishment. Unfortunately it's not 5 stars as the room clearly hadn't been hoovered for a while as there were dusty cobwebs in every corner in the main room and bathroom with resident spiders. This was off putting as there were quite a few around one of the beds by the headboard as well as behind, and in the antique fireplace. Just a quick hoover would've done. Apart from that everything else was great and the shower was first class. No available parking though but to be fair there were only 5 spaces.

Comfortable accommodation in a location suitable to our needs. Good pub with pub food. We were on a cycle trip and the host ensured our bikes were kept safe.

Breakfast would have been nice.

Room was clean, staff are friendly and ready to help.

There was not a chair or sofa in the room. We need to sit on a bed aways. And the most noticeable thing is due to the Pub downstair there was lot of sound until 11 pm. I don’t recommend the family but one who likes to be in a pub late night is absolutely fine. Location is not so far from the city but public transport is available. Otherwise, the property is located in a beautiful small village called Saint Dennis.

Their was rubbish in the bin, in the bathroom And no shower gel bathroom And the bed had crumbs under the duvet, I don’t think the sheet had. Bern changed.
