The Old Vicarage

The breakfast was amazing and set us up nicely for the day, and great consideration for my wife's allergies. Superb location and perfect for us meeting up with our son and family at a nearby campsite.

Nothing Every thing was perfect

Very clean and nice quality bed linen,

There was no rail on which to hold in the shower (and considering they did not accept anyone under 18, they must have expected older visitors)! The hand shower attachment was permanently fixed to the pole, so unable to be moved down to shoulder level, avoiding wetting my hair, as no shower caps provided. Thus had to hand hold it, while soaping self with other hand, and leaning against the wall. Not easy in our 80s. ! When asked if I could have some yogurt for breakfast, as I did not require a cooked meal, I was very definately told “No, we don’t do that”, by both hosts! On leaving, I told them I was disappointed that they could not provide yogurt, considering we had paid £540 for 4 nights! and was told we didn’t have any. (There was a very nice village shop almost opposite, where it could be bought)! I had to buy my own! They were not concerned when we suggested a hand rail in the shower. An accident waiting to happen I’m afraid. Being medical, we’ve frequently seen the results of such falls .

Both excellent

Nothing

The location is great and the breakfast was delicious! Andy's local knowledge has helped us a lot!
