Bankside is a perfect base too stay for short breaks, and would go again.
Breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Although traveling alone I had a family room which was very spacious and would make a perfect base for small families. The room was very clean and has its own on-suite shower room. Cannot fault anything about my stay at Bankside.

Superb stay in a very well kept villa.
Mrs Li is a very charming host and makes sure, you have a comfortable stay. The english breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and tidy, the bed the best we had during our week in Cornwall. Very good shower, which is not always standard in Uk, as it seemed. We would definitely come again!

Good choice for breakfast, comfy clean room and a great position for town, bus and train links. Li was a lovely welcoming host and it was a real pleasure to stay with her.

A lovely stay.
Li was very attentive and very kind. She works very hard, the room and en suite was very clean, tea, coffee and a jug of water in the room, replaced each day, and a television. Big wardrobe..... Everything you need. John, Li's husband, was really easy to talk to, a very interesting man. The location was central, which was great, wish our stay could have been longer... Breakfast was great by the way.
