Cow Hill Pod

It’s a really cute little pod. Perfect for a quick stay in Fort William. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into it and it shows. Exactly what we needed.

Location is a bit out of the way. Ok if you have a car. Fort William itself is a little underwhelming. Could be cheaper…

Great pod, walkable into Fort William... about 15/20 mins down the steep hill, same back up. Parking space outside the pod. Comfy cosy pod with nice views from the outside area. Ideal place to explore the surrounding areas.

Cozy and clean.

No breakfast just a bottle of milk in the fridge. No cork opener!

Lovely pod, close to the town centre, it was warm and cosy, they provided extra heaters and blankets should you need them. Bed was comfy and shower was hot. There is a small couch to sit on during the evening to watch TV and a good WiFi signal

Not as clean as it could be. We were asked to open the bathroom window when showering to prevent any mold build up, but the handle on the window was broken and so we were unable to do this, I assume previous visitors had the same issue as their was a build up of mold in the bathroom. The kitchen had 5 mugs, 2 were badly chipped and not useable and there was a lack of equipment in the kitchen, no tin opener of bottle opener. They had left washing up liquid and a sponge for washing up, but the sponge had been used previously and had seen better days, luckily I had taken my own dish cloths. The pod is cute and with a bit of a deep clean and a check through of the equipment it could be a lot better. The only contact with the hosts was via an email with information on how to access the pod, and contact them should we need to, this was very straight forward and we had no need to contact them during our visit.
