Location was great. The property was well-equipped. The washer and dryer were perfect! We were able to do laundry.

Disappointment except for the view of the loch.

A struggle to climb four flights of stairs to reach the third floor apartment. There is no lift in this block where the apartment is. Anyone with a walking disability should think twice before booking. The stairwell has seen better days and I nearly stumbled at the bottom of the stairs. It is difficult to key in the numbers in the locked key box as there is no overhead light above the entrance door and its door number is unfortunately being painted over. The apartment needs significant refurbishment. The third bedroom door cannot be closed properly and the socket at the foot of the “camp” bed cannot be used due to being too close to the foot of the bed. I had to hold the shower head in one hand to shower. The clothes hanger on the bathroom door has rusted. A tumble dryer with a “ do not use” label was sitting on top of a second dryer. Yet, it has a plug that can be plugged into a socket. It appears there is no proper ventilation for the “ useable “ dryer. No guest information book was found in the apartment. Therefore no information about how to use the equipment including the washing machine and electric hob and oven. That said, the owner claimed that a “handbook” was attached to the booking email. I was thankful that we had a car to drive up to the block where the apartment is. Overall, except for the view, I’m disappointed with my stay there.

Lochview stay in Fort William

The owner was very helpful and polite. The 3bedroom flat was very nice, had everything that was needed for our stay. The view over looking The loch from the living room was lovely. Did appreciate the sl8ding door partition between the lounge and kitchen. The lounge and kitchen also had their own separate doors to the hallway. There was plenty of lamps/plug sockets aswell as free WiFi. The beds were extremely comfortable. With plenty of storage and extra pillows/quilts...ironing board and iron...no hair dryer. The shower head was a bit dodgy but the bath was great...separate toilet with plenty of loo rolls, sink, mirror and cleaning products...windows in both the W C and bathroom. Very spacious indeed...parking wasn't a problem...approximately 30 concrete stairs to climb with a handrail..codekey entrance into the flat, so you can then use the key....will definitely use LOCHVIEW again

Very nice apartment with a fantastic view of the loch!

The view was fantastic, and the location was great, easy to walk into town.

The apartment smelled a bit musty, we had to air it out a bit when we arrived or maybe it is just that the building was older. The building itself did not seem well kept but the apartment itself was clean. There were no hand towels left out for us and no dish towels so I would say that the linens were kind of partially supplied.

Very good

Location good only, 10 min walk to high street, another 5 to railway stn, however beaware down hill there but uphill back! Good views over the water due to flats elevated position on the residential estate. Car parking on street outside flat or bottom of some steps appeared safe, we experianced no trouble and car in view at all times. No noisy neighbour's to complain about in fact quiet neighborhood. Great f!at layout, easy to access all areas and homely. Heating adequate. Hot water suffieciet. Elec shower over bath efficient.

Now I'm a man and I thought the place was tidy, clean and well equipped. But a lady in my party considered some surfaces, such as light switches and cooker hood etc needed a clean and dusting. The notices in the flat eluded to bad clients in the past and instructed no smoking or pets. No problem for us and only right to respect someone else's wishes and property. We left the place tidy and as we found it except for the stripped beds and towels left out for the cleaner. I loved the place.

Great place for a family stay in Fort William.

Ronnie has a lovely apartment overlooking the loch at Fort William, very convenient location to explore the area. Spacious apartment, large rooms, cosy kitchen/living room. We cooked our own meals and all utensils/appliances are available. Parking is available.

Price a bit on the higher side, but perhaps due to travelling over a bank holiday weekend.

Clean, central, great views, very quiet, parking, 3 bedrooms so plenty of space, all amenities needed, helpful info from the host, self catering so complete flexibility.

Could have done with more sockets, mirrors in all the bedrooms, bigger towels, and instructions for the TV (which we couldn’t get to work). These were minor inconveniences though, and I’d return.

Great location as a hub for travelling around the area and great view.

The location and view were great. The view is fantastic, overlooking the loch.

The approach to the apartment is on the second floor and there is 4 flights of stairs to climb up. Most of the time this is fine, but carrying luggage can be tiring. The outside area looks a bit on the 'rough' side, but don't be put off as many of these properties appear to be holiday lets. Minor problem with Hot water, but soon sorted out with contact with Landlord. I would like an explanatory leaflet on how to use the TV, which is internet only, but this may be because I'm of the older generation and not so techy!

It is all about location! Fantastic view out of the window. The flat is spacious and very family-friendly. The kitchen has all the things you would need. You have the feeling like an old friend gave you a key to his flat, and you can enjoy your stay :)

Brilliantly located accommodation, with outstanding views. Plenty of kitchen equipment for those who are happy to cook on holiday.

A couple of the storage heaters were faulty, which meant moving portable panel heaters about. Just a minor inconvenience.
