Great location with washer and dryer
Location was great. The property was well-equipped. The washer and dryer were perfect! We were able to do laundry.

Disappointment except for the view of the loch.

A struggle to climb four flights of stairs to reach the third floor apartment. There is no lift in this block where the apartment is. Anyone with a walking disability should think twice before booking. The stairwell has seen better days and I nearly stumbled at the bottom of the stairs. It is difficult to key in the numbers in the locked key box as there is no overhead light above the entrance door and its door number is unfortunately being painted over. The apartment needs significant refurbishment. The third bedroom door cannot be closed properly and the socket at the foot of the “camp” bed cannot be used due to being too close to the foot of the bed. I had to hold the shower head in one hand to shower. The clothes hanger on the bathroom door has rusted. A tumble dryer with a “ do not use” label was sitting on top of a second dryer. Yet, it has a plug that can be plugged into a socket. It appears there is no proper ventilation for the “ useable “ dryer. No guest information book was found in the apartment. Therefore no information about how to use the equipment including the washing machine and electric hob and oven. That said, the owner claimed that a “handbook” was attached to the booking email. I was thankful that we had a car to drive up to the block where the apartment is. Overall, except for the view, I’m disappointed with my stay there.

Lochview stay in Fort William
The owner was very helpful and polite. The 3bedroom flat was very nice, had everything that was needed for our stay. The view over looking The loch from the living room was lovely. Did appreciate the sl8ding door partition between the lounge and kitchen. The lounge and kitchen also had their own separate doors to the hallway. There was plenty of lamps/plug sockets aswell as free WiFi. The beds were extremely comfortable. With plenty of storage and extra pillows/quilts...ironing board and iron...no hair dryer. The shower head was a bit dodgy but the bath was great...separate toilet with plenty of loo rolls, sink, mirror and cleaning products...windows in both the W C and bathroom. Very spacious indeed...parking wasn't a problem...approximately 30 concrete stairs to climb with a handrail..codekey entrance into the flat, so you can then use the key....will definitely use LOCHVIEW again
