Basic.

Cleanliness. Location. Car parking.

I don't like writing negative reviews but I do feel this is needed. The accommodation is spacious but very basic. It seems more like an empty shell with some home furnishings. There is no dressing table, only two small mirrors in the bedrooms on the walls and bathroom mirror. It makes doing skin care and make up challenging as well as styling hair. There is very minimal wall decor, like pictures. The bathroom door has a small hole in it and the shower pressure is weak. Kitchen is basic, kettle could do with a good clean inside, handles need replacement and flooring stuck back down. They do have tea/coffee available but not in individual sachets (who knows who has had their hands in there)! There is a burnt iron mark on one of the carpets and in general the flat appears dated and tired. Most worrying point is the main lock on the front door. This is a single, weak lock, that wouldn't take much to kick in. This is also not a fire door. This was a worry for myself that our flat was so easily accessible especially since the main door into the block had no lock. There is no heating other than the bathroom, the one storage heater we found we were unable to work. They do provide two small heaters but they cannot be left on unattended. Unfortunately, there was a constant smell of drugs from flat below, this is not something owners can change but something to be aware of. The pictures they use are dated and for show. I wouldn't recommend more than 1 night if you needed a comfortable stay (double beds, not larger).

Shower either cold or scolding. Front security door smashed off and the smell of marijuana from other apartment was so strong it was constantly inside apartment. Apartment comfortable but dated and tired and needs some love.

Comfy central stay in Fort William

Central location but still quiet at night, easy access to shops and places to eat. Instructions for accessing the property were clear. Clean, comfortable and warm. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking if you don't want to go out.

Couldn't reach the switch for the extractor fan in the bathroom. The shower is a bit weak but still useable.

Excellent centrally located apartment

The apartment is centrally located within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs, train station etc. It was easy to locate & host gave clear instructions on how to enter the property and access the off street parking space. The apartment has 2 large bedrooms, a lounge/dining room, well appointed kitchen & a bathroom. We found the beds comfortable & it was quiet, so slept well.

Didn't matter to us, but some may not like having to carry bags/cases up a flight of stairs.

Lovely spacious apartment located centrally in Fort William, would 100% recommend!

Amy & Stuart have a really lovely spacious apartment located centrally in Fort William. We had private parking, a lovely comfortable bed and all the amenities you could want for your stay. Communication was excellent and due to the central location we had a great choice of restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. It's also a short distance from the stunning Glen Nevis and Glenfinnan Viaduct.

The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't sound the healthiest so probably needs a replacement and a few handles in the kitchen were loose but overall we had a really enjoyable stay.

Very close to all the eating and entertainment areas. Great parking , easy access and very roomy set out in apartment. Extremely easy to heat, and comfortable unit.

Great location with everything you need

The location of the stay was fantastic - everything was in walking distance, and the apartment had everything you’d need including a washing machine. Private parking is ideal for those travelling by car. Hosts were very friendly and quick to reply if I had any questions - thank you. One fault I had which isn’t the apartment but the building door entry lock being busted - therefore anyone could access the building. With that said, we had no issues during our stay and enjoyed our time overall. 😁

Exceptional

Fantastic location and the apartment is spacious for a family of four. The flat is well equipped with all the bits and pieces you need. The hosts also prepared some welcome stuff in the living room ( I think it was a box of Scottish shortbread), which was also very kind. After a long driving I really enjoyed gazing the water and the boats from the living room. The High Street of Fort William is just 2 minutes walk from the appartment, so all the shops and restaurants are just couple of yards away. Everything is easily accessible.

Only just one tiny thing really: the double bed is a bit smaller than the size we are used to. For the 2 kids it was ok.

More flexible sleeping options e.g. twin beds or a sofa bed would allow us to book again for a family trip.

We had an amazing stay! Perfect size and perfect location. So close to the main centre/pubs etc. Instructions provided were very clear and easy to understand. Flat was spotless and loved that there was a bath! Myself and my siblings done the great glencoe challenge so to come home to a bath was amazing! Thank you so much and we would definitely book again.

We had a very nice stay in the apartment, felt comfortable and would book it again.

The apartment is close to the train station and was easy to find, as we got excellent directions the day before we arrived. The key was easy to find and the code for it worked. The apartment is big and tastefully furnished. It was very clean and we were welcomed with a note and biscuits. In the kitchen we found teabags and coffee and there was fresh milk in the fridge.

There was little crockery and cutlery in the kitchen. But that was not bad for us, as we only stayed for a short time and did not want to cook ourselves.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut, mit ein paar kleinen "Schönheitsfehlern".

Die Unterkunft/Apartment war zentrumsnah gelegen und man war quasi sofort in der Innenstadt. Für den Parkplatz sind keine gesonderten Gebühren angefallen und das Auto stand auch sicher. Auch dort gab es den Schlüssel im Türsafe, und wir sind problemlos mit dem Code reingekommen. Das Apartment war vom Charme etwas "spartanisch" und nicht wirklich persönlich - tut dem Aufenthalt aber keinen Abbruch, da wir eigentlich dort nur geschlafen haben und das war völlig in Ordnung. Auch die Abreise war genauso unkompliziert. Mit den Vermietern hatten wir einmal telefonisch Kontakt, diese hatten wir ebenfalls umgehend an der Strippe, der Austausch war auch prima.

Da gibt es nur ein wenig Punktabzug: Die Küche sollte geprüft werden, die Schranktüren waren teilweise lose, da sollte nachgebessert werden, ansonsten war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Auch das Bad könnte zumindest eine neue Tür gebrauchen, die war von der Innenseite eingetreten - nicht so schön. Auch mit der Dusche hatten wir ein wenig zu kämpfen, bis wir das System mit dem Boiler verstanden haben. Da wäre eine genauere Vorabinfo wirklich hilfreich. Dann gab es noch einen unfreundlichen Nachbarn, der uns einen Zettel aufs Auto gelegt hat, das wäre sein Parkplatz. Daher der Anruf an den Vermieter, der uns versichert hat, das ist kein Problem, da die Parkplätze nicht zugewiesen sind. Das Problem gab es wohl schon häufiger mit dem Nachbarn. War dann auch kein Problem, am 2. Tag haben wir trotzdem umgeparkt, der Parkplatz ist groß genug.

La situation géographique : pub animé, servant d’excellentes pizzas , personnel sympathique, très belle décoration, tout cela juste à côté de l’hébergement. Centre ville à pied tout proche. Bien situé pour visiter les environs. En plus : parking gratuit privé sécurisé.

Très spacieux mais un peu vieillot. Mal insonorisé.
