The Shack

The location was really easy to find - we had good driving directions and there's a sign on the road and a marked parking spot in their private driveway. The code for the lock box was sent to us in advance, so it was super easy to collect the key and check ourselves in when we arrived. The space is LOVELY - warm, inviting, and well-equipped for either short or longer stays. This is a tiny home with a lovely main room (kitchen/dining/living), a spacious bedroom, and a full washroom. We only stayed in Fort William for two nights, but could easily have settled into this space and stayed longer.

There wan't anything we would improve or change about our stay. Everything we needed was there!

Good location and with a nice little view over the lake. It was comfortable enough for a short stay.

It was quite humid and the bed was quite small 140cm or so. It lacked a drying rack for clothes which would have been very helpful to have.

This little place is situated perfectly. Has great views too & is in a very quiet area.

When we arrived it smelt of stale, spicy Indian food, which wasn’t very pleasant.

Location was great as there was a beautiful view and it was very quiet and peaceful enabling a good night's sleep.

I couldn't work out how to use the complicated digital kettle so couldn't make a cup of tea and the same problem with the radiators with a complicated digital process and no instructions on how to use. So we were quite cold until we called someone out to put the radiators on. Simple on off switches for kettles make more sense and on off switches for radiators with dials for heat levels would make more sense.
