Bright 2 Bedroom Apartment near Seafront Central Penzance

The apartment was everything I could've wished for an provided a hugely convenient and comfortable base for me to spend a week working in Cornwall. The spacious flat has everything you need, including a large-screen tv with access to streaming - great to be able to do catch-up on favourite shows. All Penzance's facilities are within an easy walk; it's a very short stroll through the gorgeous Penlee Park to the brilliant Penlee House Gallery & Museum (I'm surprised that's not mentioned as a nearby attraction!), where you can get a delicious breakfast, as well as accessing an outstanding collection of Newlyn School paintings. There are two supermarkets, Asda and Lidl, just around the corner, and many excellent restaurants and pubs in Penzance and Newlyn.

On my second day, the shower - which wasn't a great one - broke; however, things go wrong at the best of places, and the measure of any organisation is how they deal with problems, which, in this case, was perfectly. I messaged the owner, who got back to me straight away and was suitably apologetic, and within an hour someone came around and fixed it... brilliant! I know they're planning to replace it with a mains-fed shower, which I'm sure will be all the better.

Everything was excellent. The property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was perfect for exploring Penzance, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Very good location for friend we were visiting, for local supermarket, for seafront, park with cafe. On bus route from railway station if the brisk 20min walk is too far. Appreciated tea/coffee/sugar/ milk/ sachets for immediate use (which we didn’t), and pepper (left by previous visitor?)

Would benefit from a few essentials eg bathroom - disinfectant and a plastic window scraper/cleaner for the shower. Kitchen eg washing up liquid was well watered down!, cling film for food , kitchen foil for cooking, kitchen towel for any upset, cleaning, basics salt and pepper, oil. Single bedroom could benefit from over door hanging rail as no wardrobe. Not forewarned about work in progress, though it didn't disturb us.

Die Informationen per mail waren ausführlich und rechtzeitig. Die Grösse des Appartements ist sehr angenehm und Nähe Stadtzentrum. In der Ausstattung gibt es einen Wäscheständer und Haarfön, falls nötig mobile Heizkörper.

Die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs war sehr mangelhaft, ebenso die WM nicht nutzbar, weil so viel Schimmel. Der Hausflur sieht aus wie eine Baustelle und man wähnt sich zuerst am falschen Ort. Die Wohnung hat dann aber angenehme Atmosphäre.
