There was a lot of good about our stay, but because of the things mentioned we would not stay again

For us the location was great, between the centre of Penzance and Newlyn. pleasant walk through parks either way.(15 to 20 mins) Useful Lidl nearby. The flat was very clean and well equipped. Good communication with host

The hall unlike the photo was cluttered, it seemed to be used for storage of all the extras like z beds etc that may be required in the other flats. Although new furniture and appliances etc had been bought they were layered on the tired wall and floor coverings of a previous era. The bathroom was small as mentioned in previous reviews and yes it was very small!! if you were above average height and width it might pose an issue. for us the main problem was the poor lighting and mirrors which made shaving etc extremely difficult. The bed was not as pictured it had a mattress that sunk in the middle, so we kept rolling into each other. The last night I slept on the sofa.

Plenty of space and comfortable beds

Black cooker difficult to read the dials in dim light no instructions for the cooker or any other electrical goods .No safety features in the bathroom like a non slip mat in the shower and no rails to hold on while showering as I’m 86 I found it unsafe to shower .Also the heat of the water was too hot so not so easy to wash hands after using the toilet in wash basin. I couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was so low and difficult to get up from.I was glad of the armchair the bedroom .

Comfortable stay in central Penzance

As a Penzance ex pat on a quick visit home this was a good, great value bolt hole right in the centre of Penzance. Just a short walk through the park in to town. Excellent location near town and the sea front, perfect for those who like a morning swim! All of the facilities you could need including a washing machine. Very clean and comfortable. Good communication from the host.

The electric shower, very slow flow and hard to get the temperature right. No central heating, although there are plenty of heaters provided. The bathroom is en suite in the main bedroom and so the user of the second bedroom has to walk through the bedroom to use it. Not a problem for us as we were with our daughter but might not suit all groups. Our car was covered in bird droppings after one night on the road outside so just be careful where you park!

Beds were comfortable, good shower, good kitchen facilities.

Parking was hit or miss, and the stairs were steep, so it's not good if your mobility is not great. Be aware the only bathroom is in the main bedroom, fine for a family, maybe not so good for friends.

Perfect stay for a Cornwall break

Really lovely flat, great communication from host, perfect location 15 minutes walk to town, close driving distance to attractions, flat well equipped with everything you need, convenient free street parking

Being quite tall some of the furniture was a bit low for me. Definitely manageable for a short stay and didnt ruin our trip!

Everything was great, would definitely go back

I did not actually stay in this flat due to a mix up once there, I stayed in the one upstairs! Can't leave a review for that one but if I could it would go like this: The location of this property is very good, just a short walk to the seafront and town. The flat itself was very well equipped and I couldn’t think of anything else I could possibly need while staying there. Great location for visiting other parts of the area, parking was easy outside.

A thicker duvet on the double bed would be nice, it got cold at night and needed the radiator back on, had the bedding been thicker I would not have needed to.

Excellent location, close to the sea front with easy walking access to both Newlyn and Penzance.

The tenants in the adjoining flat had a large dog which barked a lot and was a nuisance

Die Lage war ganz gut. In der Nähe gab es Frasers Fish and Chips- super lecker. In ca. 6 Minuten war ein Lidl.

Das Haus und die Wohnung sind insgesamt sehr heruntergekommen. Auch die Möbel sind bunt durcheinander gewürfelt, das ist zwar kein Problem, aber alles ist alt und verwohnt. Bei den Betten spürt man jede Feder- extrem unbequem. Jeden Morgen hatte ich Rückenschmerzen.

Jederzeit wieder

Geräumige, saubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend und insgesamt ruhig. Sowohl Richtung Stadtzentrum als auch zum Hafen sind es zu Fuß nur wenige Minuten. Die Straße ist zwar nicht sehr ruhig, aber das Schlafzimmer geht zum Hof, ist also völlig ruhig. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Haus kein Problem. Brave Hunde waren willkommen, es gibt sehr schöne Gassistrecken. Würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

Das Bad war sehr klein. Ein Halter fürs Toilettenpapier würde nicht schaden.
