Location is a perfect base for many local walks and within walking distance of Settle. The village has great pubs and also there's a supermarket close by. The layout of the cottage works really well and there's more than enough of everything you would need for a family. A really nice touch is the wood burning stove in the lounge and all the wood/fuel is included.
Communication with the owner was excellent and although we didn't have any problems we know if we had needed help with anything it would have been dealt with immediately.
We found absolutely nothing to not like about this property. We found the parking space unsuitable for our vehicle, VW transporter, but we found plenty of on road parking very close by so wasn't a problem. If your car is small then this wouldn't course an issue.

Ivy cottage was ideal for our walking holiday, ideally situated and it had everything we required. The log fire was lovely to have after a long days walking and drinking.
We didn't stay longer.
