Enjoy relaxing family breaks in this central Ambleside apartment with parking

The location is fantastic - walking distance into the town and restaurants. Easy to access the property. The responses from the property managers was very prompt.

The apartment is a bit 'tired' decor-wise, and the carpets, furniture and curtains could do with deep cleaning. I definitely did not like being forced to either pay an additional £40 or leave a deposit of a huge amount (£400) as "insurance" against any damage or breakage. Firstly, there was no guarantee the deposit would be refunded, and we would have had to literally photograph everything inside the property in case they decided we had caused any existing damage - of which there was a lot. Secondly, if you want an extra £40 insurance, then just charge it the price? The deposit amount (which they keep until they decided to release it) is extortionate. That was a big negative for me.

Convenient location. Good facilities. Comfortable.

Couldn’t make tv in twin bedroom work. My young granddaughter would have liked to have watched tv while adults talking in living room.

Very spacious, central to Ambleside and perfect size for our family of four. Clear instructions from the team it was a perfect stay.
