Great Weekend Location
Very comfortable beds. Great location and the views out were nice.
A little on the small side for 4 (mainly adults) people. Parking with a larger car (Skoda Octavia wagon) was extremely tricky at times.

The kitchen tap vibrates like a hammer drill. The allocated car parking space is a bit tight for a larger vehicle or a van - better if you have a smaller car.

Location: just a couple of mins from central Ambleside, yet removed from the hustle and bustle; lovely balcony with beautiful views; well-equipped.
In rain, the roof leaks at the join between house and conservatory - same as last year.

Had a nice comfortable soothing stay at this place.
We went around in Spring. Rooms, Kitchens are very nice and well equipped. Toilets and Bathroom was very clean as well. Rooms were pretty warm, just requires a single heating. Instructions booklet has all relevant information for a comfortable stay. Location has amazing views, easy access to most of the top rated locations of the Lakes.
Living Room Sofa cover is already torn, it would be good if it is replaced.

Would definitely stay again
The location is amazing, 2 minutes from the centre. Balcony was ideal be it for the morning brew, enjoying the beautiful views or admiring the night skies. Comfortable rooms and nice bathroom, fair size kitchen for the size of the place.

Not suitable for elderly due to building work on nearby property
The cottage was clean and cosy with a gorgeous view and very well equipped
As we booked the property in September 2024, we were not informed of the building work going on from November 2024 which restricted access to the property. This resulted in having to carry our belongings from the car to the property then having to drive around to find a parking spot eventually finding one about 1/4 mile away. Had we known this in advance we would not have booked this property and opted for somewhere with 'on site' parking. As I am elderly and suffering from Peripheral Arterial Disease this was not ideal. We were also not informed of parking fees being refunded. It was not a pleasant experience as it was raining heavy and the walk to the property with our luggage was about 50 yards crossing a temporary wooden ramp which was slippery due to the rain and an outflow from the guttering. It was worse when the weather got really cold and the ramps became icy and more slippery. The property itself was quite pleasant. A message received on 23rd December implied a dishwasher was in the property, quote: "Please ensure all dishes are washed and put away. If possible put the dishwasher (where appropriate) on the night before and empty." Even dishwasher tablets were provided within the complimentary 'cleaning' pack. The 'summer' room leaked when raining so the floor was awash with rain water. I did inform the owner of the problem.

Lovely setting and amenities so I would return another time.
The position and view is exceptional for an in town property and made staying there extra enjoyable and part of the vacation. At the same time it is right in Ambleside and so very convenient for walking to all the local amenities. The purpose built apartment is clean, comfortable and well furnished to a high standard.
It is great to have a designated parking space, although as the parking is quite tight, a small to medium size car is essential - as advised. I did manage it with my Honda Civic.
