Okay for a short stay

Good location close to the tram, and relatively good value. Bed was comfortable. Bikes were a nice touch, though we didn’t end up using them.

The host didn’t reply to any of our messages coming up to the stay and didn’t give us any check out instructions. The amenities could have been a bit better, we were only given one towel for the two of us, there wasn’t much soap and there was no kettle. The cleanliness could have also been improved, as other reviews mentioned it was a little dusty, the bath mat was already wet when we arrived and there were a couple things left from previous stays in the kitchen. It also wasn’t a very private stay, there was a glass wall in front of the bed with very sheer curtains that led directly into the garden and let in too much light in the mornings.

Everything was perfect, the Host was amazing! It's away from the center, so is super quiet. You have access to the center using the tram that stops in front of the building.

A lovely stay, but a good 15-20 minutes from the centre.

A bright airy apartment of good size with unusual art works & mannequins but great facilities. Good size fridge, excellent kitchen, a bit hard to keep warm at the time of year we were there. Difficult to sleep in with the glass bricks. Great having bikes & tram very nearby. Food options were a distance away.

Studenten-Garagenstudio aus den 1980ern für Junggebliebene

Of course, everyone has their own idea of "cozy". In my opinion, it is difficult to make a studio converted from a garage cozy. However, the owner made a knight's move, having decorated it as an artist's studio. It probably did not become more cozy, but it became interesting and you can't find fault with the word "art" in the name!) The advantages of this studio: no TV (for some it may be a minus), fast Internet, convenient location, well-equipped kitchen. The nice owner lives right above you, if that matters.

Some things can be easily improved if desired: there are a lot of small things in the studio (lamps, toys, decorative items), covered with a layer of dust and cobwebs. The door to the small yard cannot be locked - the lock does not work. We did not expect that the owner would want to climb in through the yard at night, but anyway). Some things cannot be fixed: from the toilet to the shower you need to walk through the entire studio - about 10 meters, not a big deal, especially since the owner provided free bicycles, but along the way there is an insurmountable ledge of the floor. I sat for a while in the inner courtyard ("garden") on a bench. After that I had to dry my pants - the garden cushion on it turned out to be wet.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Slightly alternative studio accommodation but everything you need is present. Good to have a private garden included and the use of two good bicycles to explore Ghent was a bonus. Great location as right next to the tram stop for easy travel in to Ghent. Great supermarket just around the corner. TOP TIP: Have a pizza from 'Eddie the pizzaman - just around the corner'....best pizza we ever had! Also, the host was a really helpful and decent guy.

The room was big, and the host was super friendly. Even though we arrived late, he waited for us patiently. The place had a cool artistic vibe.

공간 분리가 너무 잘되어있고 인테리어가 정말 감각적이었어요. 혼자 지내는게 아까울 정도였어요. 아늑한 뒷 마당도 있답니다! 다음에 겐트로 여행온다면 무조건 다시 올 생각이에요! 마트도 도보 3분거리에 있었고 시내로 가는 트램 정류장도 바로 1분 거리에 있어서 좋았습니다!

Prima adres voor bezoek Gent (ook dankzij de fietsen)!

Fietsen beschikbaar. Fijn om naar het centrum te gaan! Nabij tramstation (niet gebruikt) en supermarkt.

Wat gehorig (ook de voordeur) Parkeren kan niet in de straat/wijk maar op een P&R op 10-15 minuten lopen (die soms erg vol is).

Vlotte communicatie met Maxime. Mooie ruime accommodatie met veel kunst en gezellige verlichting. Alles voorhanden in de keuken en badkamer. Genoten van de stilte. Tram 1 richting centrum stopt om de hoek.

Het verblijf was voor 2 dagen goed.

Leuk ingericht appartement. Je kunt in 3 minuten naar de tram lopen die naar het centrum van Gent rijdt. Het bed was uitstekend. Appartement is groot genoeg voor 2 personen.

Geen mogelijkheid om gratis te parkeren bij de accommodatie. Je kunt er wel parkeren maar dat is betaald en best prijzig. Er is een openbare parkeerplaats op 10 min. lopen maar daar is niet altijd plaats. In de omgeving van de accommodatie is geen restaurant of kroeg.

Het prachtige appartement, de sfeer van de plek, de host kwam ons vriendelijk begroeten en er was een supermarkt en frituur om de hoek!

Het is compact maar alles is wel aanwezig. Tuin is niet veel maar je kan er terecht.

We waren 1/2 uurtje eerder maar konden al naar binnen

Er zijn geen normale gordijnen, alleen glasgordijnen en daardoor is het veel te licht in de ochtend. Bovendien kan men binnenkijken wanneer wij met licht binnen zitten.

Top locatie! Heel kort bij de tram/bus halte. Ruime appartement, makkelijke communicatie.

Op sommige plekken was er wat stof en hier en daar een spinnenweb, maar dit was zeker niet storend of dusdanig aanwezig dat het verblijf er onaangenaam door werd. De tuin was bovendien erg gezellig en sfeervol! Jammer genoeg waren de stoelen, tafel en hangmat helaas vuil, waardoor we daar geen gebruik van hebben kunnen maken.

Fijne locatie op 15min fietsen van centrum, super handig dat je gebruik kunt maken vd fietsen! Tram is ook dichtbij als alernatief Leuke artistieke inrichting! Volledig ingerichte keuken Zeer goede prijskwaliteit verhouding!

Das Studio ist originell und cool eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der kleine Garten ein nettes Plus. Auf Nachfragen hat der Besitzer schnell reagiert.

Das Studio ist im EG und hat (zu) wenig Tageslicht im Küchen'- /Essbereich. Der Weg ins Zentrum ist zwar mit der Tram gut machbar, aber doch sehr weit. Bad sehr basic und nicht abgetrennt, kein Fernseher.

Lichtdurchflutet

Das Studio ist lichtdurchflutet obwohl es außer der Tür in den Garten keine Fenster gibt. Eine Wand aus Glausbausteinen sorgt für Helligkeit. Das Design der Wohnung, die Einrichtung und Ausstattung sind ganz besonders, ein bisschen Industriedesign, Bauhausstil, aber auch einfach gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Zwei Fahrräder, die zur freien Verfügung stehen, sind das Sahnehäubchen. Der Vermieter stand bei Fragen stets zur Verfügung.
