Rundown and filthy! Photos are inaccurate!!

Nothing. Left after 15 minutes.

When you arrive, you will find a decrepit, crumbling building. Inside, the space is rundown, dirty, and poorly maintained. The furniture is old and falling apart. The kitchen has no appliances. The hall was littered with cleaning supplies. The “courtyard” was full of trash, unlike in the photo. This place felt more like a halfway house for recently released inmates than a guesthouse. In the 15 minutes I was there, another guest entered my room unannounced. I just used the wifi to book another property and left! It’s a terrible space.

An authentic old Belgian room

Close to the center, quiet neighbourhood, the house is very old so you get to feel the local living conditions. The room is very big with two large windows. Everything in the building works fine. Price was high but good compared to the rest of available options. Helpful instructions from the landlord were received in advance.

No sound isolation, so every step and noise of people passing is heard. There was a big nervous dog barking in the room above mine. When the dog or the people in that room were walking around it seemed the ceiling would collapse... The walls are full of strange stains and should be repainted, it would improve the quality. There was no toilet paper in the toilet... And to close the toilet door it must be slammed with force, which bothers the entire building.
