Great location
A little noisy-obviously little sound proofing in construction.

The location was easy to find and check in was seamless and easy. It was located in the "new town" area and was close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check into the room early - basically as soon as the room was ready.
The location is about a 25min walk to the royal mile which is where we did most of our activities. It is also quite an uphill walk going into the old town. This (in UK) was one of the more expensive places per night we stayed. This was characteristic of the whole of Edinburgh. Perhaps because we were within 2 weeks of the Edinburgh festival so there was more activity in Edinburgh to prep for the festival.
