Don’t stay if you want any sort of nice trip.

The property was close to the train line, and had two toilets (one upstairs and one down). It was really good value for money. The bedrooms included fans.

The photos on the listing barely match the house and are quite misleading. The upstairs was stifling even with the windows open—next to no air movement. The soft furnishings were in a state—the bath and toilet mats were falling apart, the bed linens were mismatched and made of 100% polyester so they were hot and sweaty. The duvet/comforters provided were baggy and broken inside so they did not lay flat and were horribly uncomfortable. There was only a face cloth provided for drying hands in the downstairs toilet; and we had to go digging in the wardrobes for towels as none were left out for us. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, mould on the ceiling over the shower and in the seals in the shower. There were spiderwebs and dust bunnies under beds and the couch. There was a dirty nappy outside the back door on the ground. There were spiderwebs rubbish bin in the kitchen had a broken lid and was dirty. There tiles in the kitchen were stick on vinyl and were peeling away and pinned on with tacks to keep them in place. There was a dog toy full of an unknown liquid in a cupboard by the tv, there was no option for coffee—no instant coffee and no French press. The dining chairs were wobbly and had bolts that needed tightening as a few of them were falling apart. The photos show curtains in the bedrooms and living spaces but these have been replaced with vertical vane blinds which sounds fine but the acoustics in the house as a result—EVERYTHING was noisy. On the first night we were there the neighbours were playing LOUD music into the night.

Beautiful Mansion

This is our second time after a year that we stayed in this beautiful place. Very clean, comfy and so tidy..close to the airport..The home owners are very friendly and prompt re communication..thank you Mini Mansion!

Nothing. We couldn’t watch tv nor could we connect to any source of wifi we also didn’t have a parking spot available. Did not end up staying there and booked another air BnB more suited for my family.

The bathroom is great, except for the mirror positioned for the torso instead of the head/shoulders, and the towels weren't as expected. They should be white fluffy and fresh. The water feature in the front yard was lovely.

There was nothing on the site to warn of an upstairs/downstairs configuration which is an issue for those with mobility issues. No coffee sachets, only tea. The place felt unfinished with the kitchen flatpack still with its protective blue strips and stickers on all of the appliances. The linen was weird, not white like you would expect. The sofa in the lounge area was uncomfortable.

Home away from home

I liked having a small place to call home away from home especially after such long days of exploring Auckland. This was cosy and had everything we needed was really handy having a supermarket just down the road as well

Nice home but dirty

The bathrooms were stylish, loved the tiles. Although not much pressure in the shower, we still enjoyed the bathroom. Awesome having a washing machine and dryer.

The house walls were very dirty. You could see feet marks on the wall at the end of the bed. No secure parking space, we had to leave car on the road and when we walked outside to check on the car, there were people looking in our car windows. The Smart tv kept freezing, which was very frustrating for our little ones who just wanted to watch netflix after a big day travelling. The splashback next to the stove had food marks. Check in was a bit later than the normal check in of 2pm. No pressure in kitchen tap.

Small yet alot of space if that makes sense lol Very good for the price. Toilet at bottom and top floor. Beds comfortable.

There was no parking but plenty on the road. Had no issues with finding parking. Was a short walk to the house. Maybe less than 10 sec walk. Wasnt a huge issue.

Happy, suitable, convenient

Mini was as advertised, (small but perfectly formed!). Cosy, warm and perfectly adequate. Price was excellent for what we needed. Good messaging from the host. Tidy. I chose the place as I knew there would be convenient food and eating places nearby.

1 - Would have like, even expected, milk. Particularly as it's a nice gesture to provide cereal, but there wasn't milk for a tea or coffee let alone cereal. 2 - I chose this place as there was a bed in the lounge. But I couldn't find pillows, or sheets, so I just used the blankets I found in a cupboard.

Parking & small,fit for a small family

It was small and just right for our stay as we were really not at the house majority of our stay The beds were comfortable,shower was spacious and the kitchen was lovely and tidy

The parking,it’s not mentioned in the description but you share a driveway with the owner its a small street with a lot of cars parked down the road Not recommended for a big family,walls are not as cleaned as they look on the photos but overall my family enjoyed the home Thankyou

This property was perfect for our two night stay, had everything we needed, close to where we needed to go very quiet neighbourhood, the cereal was a bonus. The shower was great! 🙂

Mini Mansion overnight stay.

For such a small space, it had everything you needed. It definitely had a wow factor, like they thought of everything. We needed a place to stay overnight, as we are from outta town and were attending a 21st birthday party in Auckland. The hosts were amazing, very quick response to any concerns. The place is very clean and tidy, with good value for your dollar. The only concern I had was that it lived up to its name, mini mansion. As an islander (means big lol), and my partner and daughter are taller than the norm. It felt too small, so my partner and i had to sleep on the bed/couch in the living room, which is fine. Gave the main bedroom to our teenage daughter. There's only street parking aswel, and it's a lottery if space is available. It is a beautiful place, still great value for your dollar. Good luck trying to find another place in Auckland that matches dollars for dollar like here. Yeah, na, bro.... 😉 Will stay here again if need be.🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

Great value for money. Overall pleased with our stay.

Clean, well equipped (but could use better cooling upstairs). Easy check in and check out. Kind and friendly assistance when needed. Great value for money. Good wifi. We were fine with being a bit out of Auckland (we had a hire car so worked well for us).

Needed lightweight summer bedding (quilt was too much, too sheet would have been useful). Also needed better cooling upstairs - opening the windows didn’t help enough, not did having the AC on downstairs. We were much too warm. A little tricky to find the right place and where to park (shared driveway with other cars made us think we were in the wrong place, but we called the number provided with the booking and they were very helpful and were available on site to help us).

Such a lovely place, very clean and easy to access

Perfect place if passing through Auckland.

Lovely property but a few items would have made it superb. Was keen for an iron, noticed the hooks in the bathroom were upside down and milk would have been a lovely touch as shops were shut, it was late at night and we couldn't eat any of the breakfast items.

Slightly dirty with cockroaches on the wall and curtains

We enjoyed the privacy

Unfortunately the mini mansion was not as clean as we would expect. There was old bits of food stuck to the carpet in the living area and an old body scrubber in the shower! But worst of all … 2 big black cockroaches on the walls !! If it wasn’t so late at night we would have left to find alternative accommodation

Adequate, but needed more crokery

loved the upstairs bathroom. Everything very clean and beds comfy.

Photos did not show how small one of the upstairs rooms was - barely bigger than the double bed. A few things missing - no wine glasses at all, only 4 drinking glasses, Dining chairs cheap and unstable. Had to request bedding for sofa bed even though we'd paid for 4 of us to stay. No dishwasher tablets so couldn;t set the dishwasher. basically some more crockery, especially glasses would have made a better stay.

The birds playing in the water feature out front, cleaning was emasculate, the communication with staff was excellent, the little rules sign by the kitchen was very cool, i liked the design of the house!

No air con upstairs! As i have been living in Australia for 10 years I am just used to having aircon upstairs! It did have a fan so this was kind! We appreciate that! Little marks on the wall told a story!

exceptionally clean and tidy, very welcoming with teas and coffee, cereals and milk. very comfortable beds . kitchen fully equipped for a few days stay. the owner was very accommodating. good communication with accessing the mini mansion after hours. excellent stay

Sheets were not the right size for the beds. Not enough pillows and 1 bedroom was a bit of a squeeze for the bed. Bathroom mirror was very low you had to crouch down.
