Artisan Haven: El Cabanyal Oasis

The house is spacious and the Wi-Fi is good. The instructions from the host were . The are restaurants, supermarkets, cafes next door. Easy to commute to all the attractions. The rooftop terrace is wonderful for the star gazing and sunbathing, fireworks as it was holiday season with a lot of noise and fireworks.

The key lock as we had problems unlocking the front door. It was windy and rather the top bedroom was a bit hard to isolate and warm up the first night. The small bedroom on the ground floor is not really functional. During the period we went there lead a big festival and there were constant noises from the firecrackers.

The accommodation was located in a charming, beautifully restored house in the heart of the historic Cabanyal district. The bedrooms were spread over three floors, which worked well for our family, but could be a challenge if climbing stairs is difficult. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very well equipped. A Mercadona supermarket as well as several small shops and restaurants were conveniently located nearby. We were also able to park our car directly in front of the house.

Although the accommodation itself was beautifully restored, the neighboring buildings directly in front of and behind the house were in a state of disrepair, which felt slightly unpleasant. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, but there were a few nearby areas with run-down apartment blocks that felt a bit intimidating at night. Additionally, two of the three bedrooms were very small and did not offer any wardrobes or storage space for clothes. The keys had to be collected from a different location than the accommodation itself, and they were not ready at the agreed time as instructed. As a result, we had to go back and forth while trying to sort out how to access the property.
