Enjoyable mini break in sleek modern apartment

Very nice and modern apartment. Good directions to get there. Enjoyed the massive TV with atmospheric lighting. Bedroom was v comfy.

It was pretty cold. We were unlucky with the weather as it was cold, but the one radiator didn't really heat the whole place and going out the door to the bathroom was a big temperature drop. Not being able to turn the heating up yourself was a bit annoying. Hosts did boost it when we asked 😁

Wonderful!

Wow, what a beautiful getaway. High quality furnishings made this an extremely comfortable stay. Milk in fridge on arrival, plenty of tea/coffee and a continuous hot water tap meant no waiting for the kettle to boil. Very comfortable bed, great shower and a very peaceful retreat. Great hosts who communicated promptly prior and during our stay. Highly recommend for couples seeking a little luxury.

A fantastic place to stay in Brixham for couples or friends

What a great place to stay! Great use of space and a great location to walk in and out of Brixham. The accommodation has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The decor, facilities, TV and little additions provided by the hosts made my birthday stay extra special. It is modern, the kitchen space is great and there is a lovely outdoor decking and pond area. There are lots of steps up and down the property which are great exercise if you are able but if you struggle with steps this might be the best place to stay.

The lodge is so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a short walk from the centre of Brixham.

Beautiful little apartment with outside courtyard

This is a lovely little property, it is beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. It was immaculately clean. We particularly enjoyed the outside courtyard area where we had our morning coffee. The owners kept in contact and provided timely updates with access details.

As other reviewers have noted there is a long set of steps to reach the property. To note the property is also located at the top of a very steep road and walking back in the evening was a workout!

LOVE Brixham but will not stay in this property again.

All beautifully decorated. But upon closer inspection not as nice.

The stairs down to the property NEEDS a bannister or rails. Definitely something to hold on to. Our bed linen was wet. After being in bed for an hour, turned over and our skin and clothing was wet. Took the quilt cover off and it was still wet. The garden needs a good tidy up. The egg chair has certainly seem better days. The outdoor table was filthy with leftover food and drink stains. Toilet roll holder was loose and wouldn’t hold the roll. It was also far too close to the toilet. Seemed to have some tape to hold it to the wall which clearly wasn’t working.

We liked how clean it was and the quality of the decor etc

The layout was very odd. Huge kitchen island but no table to eat. Tiny bathroom and small bedroom. These are the two main areas that are the most important. Also huge amount of steps down to lodge.

Very quiet and peaceful with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay.

Location was great even though it is on top of a hill. Facilities were excellent and the parking space was a bonus. We didn't make use of it but the Honesty bar is a good idea and the prices are very reasonable

These are not really things I didn't like just my personal opinion. I think the description on the website should mention the number and steepness of the steps to get to the property as less mobile people might find it difficult to get up and down. I was disappointed with the water pressure in the shower and found it strange that we couldn't turn the heating off when it came on as it is controlled remotely. That being said, I would still come back if I was visiting Brixham again.
