Lovely property, very well equipt and great location

The property was a great location and was lovely and clean, would highly recommend. A lovely touch with a bottle of fizz on arrival.

It said parking but until you had booked it didn’t say would only fit a medium sized car so we did struggle with parking the car. Didn’t bother us but if you had a young family there is a lot of noise from the pub next door, was a lovely pub.

Location was great, really close to all the bars, restaurants and the town, and the welcome pack was a nice touch

The location was very good and we didn’t mind the noise from the bar above the drive, the lounge was lovely and the bed super comfy, given the weather was extremely warm a fan would have been useful, had a issue with smoke alarm chirping but called and the handyman came to look at it.

The parking was very tight even for a vw golf, the front door was a little difficult, the bathroom could to with a makeover/upgrade in particular the shower which was either too hot or too cold and the temperature dial had a mind of its own - I have the exact same shower in a rental property and it works perfectly fine, the property would also benefit from a complete freshen up, that said I would stay again for a short trip.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location.

Ideal location right on the marina. It had a private parking space. The living area was welcoming and homely.

There were a couple of things left over from previous guests including a pot of wax and a razor. The mattress in the master was quite thin.

Owner/Operators put money over guest experience. They have no empathy nor care about your experience the only interest for them is making money that is the key factor here. Not at all recommended for a family with young children. I’m not going into who said what but we left as soon as we could they tell you one thing over the phone when you complain but do completely the opposite afterwards. Tried to reason with them but basically they made out I’m lying about my problems. The house is very noisy at night they can say all they want but if you can not get to sleep and your children are up too THAT is a problem. I could go on but only other thing I must add is the fact they as a company ruined our family holiday.

A home away from home!

The location is absolutely stunning, just a 2 minute walk from the centre of Brixham and with a parking space (with electric hookup) which is rare being so close to town. A lovely little courtyard garden that gets plenty of sun during the day and perfect to relax in. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and were on hand to give us plenty of advice in where to go and what to do in the area. It really did feel like a home away from home and we can’t wait to go back!

The only downside is that there is only one bathroom and if you have a houseful it could get a bit tricky- but to be fair it’s only a small point and didn’t bother us at all!

Position is excellent accommodation not a very good standard

The location in the centre of Brixham is good

The general condition of the property is not very good.The stair carpet is very dirty as is the settee and the two armchairs. There are several bits of paintwork that need to be repainted.The fridge has no shelf in it making it impossible to store a bottle of milk in there.The parking is for small cars only
