Location was the best. Nothing to beat staying next to one of the main domes. Freddie was brilliant too! Very helpful and amicable, gave good recommendations too.

WiFi is a bit slow

You cannot beat this location. If you are coming to see the blue domes of Oia, look no further, they are literally outside the front door. Our host Freddy was amazing. I cannot rave about him enough. He met our taxi at the post office and guided us to the location, we bypassed everyone standing in line to get a photo of the blue domes and went down many steep stairs (careful with suitcases!) and entered the villa. Freddy also gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations. There is one bedroom and one alcove area which has a bed and a trundle bed which worked well for our family. The unit also has it's own terrace one set of stairs up where you can be right behind the blue domes (pretty sure were were in some peoples photos from their trip!). We enjoyed coffee every morning and gelato every night on that terrance and the view was remarkable.

There are a lot of stairs, and they are steep and slippery. Moving luggage to and from the unit was a struggle but Freddy was amazing with helping us and getting us in and out easily. One of the things I was slightly uncomfortable with is that you have to walk past the line of tourists to get to your villa and sometimes they can be feisty and ask why you're cutting the line. A few firmly worded statements of access to our villa solved that problem pretty quickly.

We couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Oia. The location is unbeatable: right next to the iconic blue domes, so close that I honestly cannot exaggerate it, with a private terrace perfect for photos. Being in the middle of Oia’s main street gave us immediate access to all the village’s sights, yet the accommodation stayed peaceful and quiet despite being so central. The space itself was very spacious. Worth noting: the property isn’t directly car-accessible, so you’ll walk a short distance from the nearest drop-off point and down some stairs to reach it, totally worth it for the location. What made this stay truly special was the hospitality. Our flight was delayed by 1.5 hours, pushing our arrival into the middle of the night. Despite this, Fredy woke up at 1:00 AM to meet us and guide us to the accommodation, carrying our luggage the whole way, down the stairs and all. When we mentioned our checkout time, he immediately offered to come back and carry our bags up again. That kind of genuine care is rare.
