Three friends traveled to Santorini after departing Athens. Santo Blue Horizon was exactly as advertised. It is FABULOUS! Location was perfect and you could not have a better view. The house construction was amazing, no detail left out. Very clean with all of the amenities described and MORE. THE BEST PART OF THIS RENTAL IS THE HOSTS, Anesti and is family go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Best place I’ve ever rented and I’ve rented many on Vrbo. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

It really is the best spot on the island. People come far and wide for this very view of Santorini and this house has it all right outside the door: the caldera, the blue domes, the architecture. We didn’t have to go anywhere else on the island; we were already there. Those blue domes are majestic + magic = majestical! Anesti is a very attentive host and will deliver. When he asked if we wanted a private dinner on the patio table, we did not hesitate, and it was totally worth it. Do it. The food was tops!

I don't have a bad thing to say about this rental. The ONLY thing to be careful of when booking, there are quite a lot of steps to get to the property, and they are uneven. Not great for someone with problems walking. The host is so much more than a normal host. Recommendations, rides, help with anything you might need on the island. If I could give this place 50 stars out of 10 I would.

Not only was the property itself, spectacular, Anesti and his family went above, and beyond to make sure that each member of our party was picked up from the airport, the space was cleaned daily, and even supplied a baby crib for us. His and his family’s care and support made our honeymoon that much more wonderful.

Anesti and his family were amazing hosts. The home was immaculately clean, the view was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner experience that they prepared for us on our balcony. Anesti toured us around the island prior to dropping us off at the ferry station. Cannot say enough great things. Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Anasti and his family made our stay so wonderful! I don't know where to start. I spent a lot of time looking for a VRBO on Santorini and finally settled on this one because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! We have rented homes all over the world, and our experience with this home and Anasti has probably been the best. First off, the home itself is very beautiful. Located right next to the 3 Blue Domes where everyone comes to take pictures. The views are spectacular! You are living right next to a world icon. Anesti and his family were amazing! He met us at the airport and took us to the home. He also provided a 5-hour island tour for us the next day. Anesti booked a private sunset cruise and arranged a rent-a-car. We parked each night at the car rental place itself since parking is a challenge in Oia. Anesti's wife Jenny, gave us massages at the home. Jenny and Anesti's father cooked a 5-course dinner for us on the beautiful deck of the home as the sun went down. It was an absolutely excellent meal and one of the highlights of the trip. They also came in 3 times during the week to clean the home. Lastly, they helped carry our luggage back up the stairs (no easy task) to our car before leaving. The airport, pick-up, island tour, massages, and special meal all had additional costs, as would be expected, but they were very reasonable and well worth it. Such a great experience!

In addition to the stunning location and multiple outdoor spaces, the level of service was the distinguishing feature. Rather than outsource, the owner and his warm family provide the service, including daily housekeeping and restocking the kitchen with everything for a full breakfast, providing transfers, booking dinner reservations and excursions, and preparing and serving a memorable dinner on one of the terraces.

Anesti the host is very friendly and helpful. The location of the house is unmatched, right next to the blue dome. If you want any activities Anesti can help you arrange it. Anesti’s dad cooking was so delicious and I would recommend everyone to have in house dinning on the terrace overlooking the blue dome and Aegean Sea. Best place we’ve stayed and we’ve travelled to many many countries!!

Anesti & his family were the warmest most wonderful people. The property was just as described and the view was magnificent. They even left breakfast goodies for us to enjoy! They made check in so easy & made us feel like family. The place was magical - every other tourist lined up to take their photos (including many of the flying dress ...) right next to our home for a few days - it's iconic. Definitely do the dinner - it was so special & we will remember forever. Hope to be back - book this place- the kids loved it too. It was quaint, beautiful, quintessential Oia. You can walk to everything & Anesti booked our sailing cruise too - enjoy enjoy enjoy!

This was a lovely villa right in the heart of Santorini! Our host, Anesti, was so helpful and kind. The place was very clean, and everything was well-organized and taken care of. High recommend!

We had an incredible time at Anesti’s place in Oia. The pictures don’t do the views justice! And Anesti and his family were incredibly helpful in carrying our luggage and driving us to and from the airport. Would 10/10 recommend!!

This place is no joke - quite possibly the best location and place in all of Santorini let alone Oia! The iconic setting and view is amazing. The place is perfect in every way. We were family of 5. We enjoyed morning coffee outside on the deck and wine on the balcony. The host Anesti is the perfect tour guide. Definitely have him arrange the chef dinner at your place- also use the benefit of him to book your ideas. He also had connections to get us into a sought after Michelin star restaurant. Also - hire him for pick up and return to airport ( definitely a huge help with the luggage with all the stairs to climb!). Can’t wait to stay there again !

This cave house is right next to the famous Blue Domes with tremendous views across the caldera. Five of us stayed very comfortably here. Anesti and his family took good care of us, arranging anything requested, including a delicious dinner cooked by his father. There is heavy foot traffic around the house given its scenic location, but Oia is not really the place to go if you want solitude. We highly recommend this house for those who want to be in the middle of things, while knowing everything you need will be taken care of by an owner who really cares about his guests.

The host anesti is very honest , caring , his hospitality was excellent . The dinner his father cooked was five star . His wife Jenny was great . Made us feel very special . He was always there took us to best places in the island . The location is excellent we won't have words to express how great our experience was . Highly recommend

This was a wonderful property with an amazing view of the Blue Domes… we could almost touch them. Anesti and his family were very helpful and his father even prepared us a delicious traditional Greek meal to eat at the house. Would definitely recommend.

3 day trip to Santorini in May 2023. At the time of writing this review, there are 27 reviews for this property on VRBO with a net 5 star rating. And I couldn’t agree more! The house is literally right there next to the iconic Santorini blue domes. Exclusive viewing whenever you want. Just peek out. Or sit on the upper balcony, drink coffee and enjoy watching the domes with the sea as background. House is very clean, well furnished and well supplied with coffee etc, even honey! Host is exceptional. Anesti is very prompt in responding, always courteous and very well connected. Need anything at all? Just ask Anesti !! Overall an absolutely fantastic experience. Highly recommended. Pricier compared to other locations but for very good reason. If and when we come back to Santorini, trip will be planned according to availability of this property. It’s that good.

My family of six (2 parents, 2 young adult children, and their 2 guests) greatly enjoyed our stay at Santo Blue Horizon. The traditional cave home experience was wonderful and the views were simply amazing. One night in the hot tub someone commented that the view was so incredible it didn’t even seem real, that it felt like they were on the set of a movie with the views as a setting backdrop. As if the house was not wonderful enough, Anesti and his parents were an absolute joy to interact with. They spent so much time each day making sure the home was meticulously cleaned for us. Anesti offered us the opportunity to hire him as a driver for the week, which allowed us to simplify our vacation experience even more. There were so many wonderful positives about this property that we would recommend it to others and would happily stay there again.

Everything was perfect! The owner Anisti was there for everything we needed. His dad make us a superb dinner on our balcony!

While other guests to Oia Santorini have to cue for an hour or so to catch a glimpse of the famous Blue Domes you will be able to literally reach out and touch them from this house. Super clean and comfortable property with daily linen/towel service and absolutely stunning views from the upper patio. The hot tub is a delightful respite each evening. Your host, Anesti can arrange for airport transportation, sunset sailboat cruises, wine tastings, in home massages, car for a day, and islands tours. He is connected and can get just about anything you would desire. His father is an amazing chef and we would highly recommend asking Anesti to arrange an in-home chef prepared meal. So whether you are in Santorini to “experience it all” or just chill on a patio with a book, you will truly enjoy this property.

We had an incredible stay! The three bedroom home was outstanding. It was absolutely immaculate, well stocked with supplies and there is no better location on Santorini! It was magical! The property host was excellent. Any questions we had on transportation or the island or tours were answered immediately. We had a question about the ferries to other islands and he even contacted the ferry boat captain to get us an immediate response. We would HIGHLY recommend this property to others. You will not be disappointed!

Five stars are not enough to express how wonderful Santo Blue Horizon and it's consulting manager, Anesti are. First, the property is pristine. It has everything one can ask for -- especially a spectacular view of the culdera and the three blue domes of Oia, Santorini. Anesti arranged everything for us from airport transfers to making sure we had everything we needed at the Vrbo unit. The beds were comfortable, the bathroooms accomodating, the hot tub was wonderful and the decks were outstanding. Once you are booked, be sure to ask about the private dining experience by a person chef. It's amazing. We had an incredible time!

This was our first time in Greece, first time for many out of the country. We knew little if anything about Sontorini, so we really relied on Anesti for our entire trip (even when we ventured to Athens for 2 days). Anesti's family home is beyond words. If you are looking for the place featured in EVERY postcard, spitting distance from the (3) blue domes, then this is the ONLY place!!! The home is extremely roomy, (3) QUEEN beds, (3) full private baths, and (1) twin bed. We fit (7) adults in there comfortably. The place is impeccably clean and organized - you want for nothing. Now, for the VIEW... one patio staring at the sea... touchable to the (3) blue domes, and another looking over the sea and all of Oia!! I'm not going to lie, I teared up when I first rounded the corner of the steps to our home for 5 days. Again, no words!! You are staying in the place EVERYONE wants a picture of... countless people just hoping to get close enough. What's great - is many places are blocked off for private residents, so you feel separate from the tourists vs. those living on the cliff. But, my review wouldn't be a review if I didn't talk about Anesti. There was a chance my family wouldn't make it from Athens to Santorini for our first night due to weather. Anesti was there every minute... helping us devise a plan. He met us at the airport that evening, helped carry our luggage, and walked us through the entire home. The fridge was stocked with milk, eggs, cheese, meat, juice and cereal - oh, and WINE! Again, we wanted for nothing. The next day he took us on a tour of Santorni, to all of the hidden gems. The following day he arranged a sunset boat tour - fantastic! He checked in on us daily, come by for some light housecleaning, and offered a ton of insights into our trip to Athens. Bottom line, HE'S the entire reason you book a 16+ hour flight to Greece, with your family (for the first time), entrusting a complete stranger with it all. To say the least... WE'LL BE BACK!!!! I have been to Santorini 4 times and staying at the Santo Blue Horizon was the culmination of many years of dreaming of staying in the best location in Oia! The views are unparalleled and you cannot get any closer to the iconic three blue domes. The Santo Blue Horizon cave house facilities were immaculate and the hosts came often during our 7 day stay to clean and provide any service requested. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with coffee, eggs, milk, bread, etc., which was particularly helpful due to our late night arrival. As we were celebrating two milestone birthdays and the celebrants were arriving first, Anesti made sure that a special Happy Birthday greeting and wine were there to welcome them when they arrived! He makes himself available for driving, setting up tours, making recommendations and reservations and anything you may need or want. The on-site gourmet dinner curated by Anesti’s father, (a professional chef) on the balcony overlooking the domes and caldera is an activity not to be missed! Anesti’s wife, father, mother and sister are delightful, and we felt honored to be guests in this beautiful and meticulously maintained, family-owned cave house. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

This property was even more beautiful than the pictures portrayed. We took advantage of the offer of dinner cooked for us and served on the patio by the hosts and it was awesome. The property was above expectations and the hosts were wonderful.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Blue Horizon in the most beautiful village of Oia. Anesti and his entire family were available to assist us. The home was spacious and well cared for. The view from the balcony was amazing . We enjoyed the chef’s meal prepared by Anesti’s father and served by Anesti’s sister. The food was wonderful - would definitely recommend this option. The location and views from the house were stunning. There are multiple patios to relax and enjoy the most picturesque view in Oia. Anesti was unbelievably helpful, very responsive and provided recommendations for restaurants (and even called and got us tables)! He coordinated rides, check-in had food available in the house which made the experience that much easier and relaxing. Thanks for the great memories!

We had the most amazing stay in Oia at this beautiful home. The pictures do not do justice to the views from and the interior of the house. It is in an ideal location of town for shopping and watching the afterglow of sunset from the perfect temperature plunge pool through the famous blue domes. The house itself was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well stocked. Anesti and family were very friendly and responsive. We would love to stay here again!
