Hôtel Turgot - Ancien hôtel particulier - Lumineux

Great location - central and lively area within a quick walk anywhere, even to the train station. The apartment is spacious, practical, nicely decorated, and decently (albeit superficially) clean.

Communicating with the host was difficult - we had to contact customer support at booking.com for help. The host ignored our request to communicate via booking.com and asked for phone number and WhatsApp repeatedly. We received instructions on how to collect the keys only after booking.com contacted the host. This was stressful for us. Expect messages from the host to be in French only. The first two nights we did not have enough hot water for showering for two people. The second night, we had to warm up the water on a stove. The hot water tank was set to low temperature so it does not store enough heat. The heater is on a schedule controlled by the utility company and the schedule simply does not work for two people with low heat setting. We asked the host to resolve and he promptly messaged us to flip the switch ON which overrode the central schedule setting. The switch goes back to automatic setting every night. So remember to flip it back ON every morning. It's the furthest right switch on the board in the top row, it has three positions, you want it on '1' - not AUTO. The kitchen was cluttered with products left behind by other guests and needs a thorough cleaning. Better communication, better cleaning, and increasing water temperature would make our stay more comfortable.

L'appartement est TRÈS bien situé. Services et attraits tourisques à proximité. Endroit très calme, malgré la proximité de restaurant et bistrots.

Divan un peu mou

L'emplacement est très pratique pour visiter la ville. De nombreux commerces se trouvent à proximité dont une boulangerie directement à la sortie de la cour. L'appartement est calme, silencieux et agréable à occuper.

Je n'ai pas trouvé de points négatifs durant mon séjour.

Prima Lage mitten im Zentrum von Rouen: stilvolles Haus, angenehme Wohnung mit gutem Bett, gut zu heizen, Ablagemöglichkeiten vorhanden. Vor der Haustür ein Markt und Bäcker mit allem, was man so braucht.

Das Parken war einfach im Parkhaus vor der Tür, unser etwas größeres Gepäck vom Auto in die Wohnung zu bringen, jedoch sehr stressig. Die Couch ist durchgesessen. Gutes Leselicht ist leider auch hier nicht zu finden.
