Marmont City Rooms

-localisation was perfect -nice and tidy -Several cleaning visits during our stay (bins emptied and towels changed) -check in was easy with all the informations needed -the people was very adorable by WhatsApp -nice air conditioning

-too much noise (night club) +++ -There were no blackout curtains, so we didn't sleep very well because there was noise and we were also woken up by the light. -blanket missing

The location is TOP ,,, best ever in the the old city and near by everywhere ,, i dont think i might find a better location in Split The room itself is so clean and comfortable ,, maybe the room just needs little fridge mini bar

The staff member who is in contact by WhatsApp is not so friendly , Its written in booking that the check in is at 15:00 ,, and he said its at 16:00 and i had to send a screenshot from booking but still he made me check in at 16:00 which is not what was written This extra hour made me tired after traveling and losing money to sit somewhere So u need to update your booking.com that check in at 16:00 ,, or speak with them Also he wasn't so helpful when u ask to keep yr luggage till the check in time or to give any recommendations for anything

The location was amazing and breakfast at the restaurant down the road was also great.

While the location is great, the trade off was is was very noisy until 4am each morning with the rooms over looking the main drag.

Location is very close to the Riva Promenade and therefore, quick access to the port/restaurants/cafes, etc. Proximity to bus station is walkable (about 1km). A bit noisy late into the night given location (was fine with me). Check-in seamless with the remote access via PINs and lockbox.

A/C not that powerful (I alerted management) as room temperature at night didn't get down below 26 degrees during the summer. There is no lift so, if you have trouble carrying bags up, be warned (okay for me, thankfully). Would be great to convert access to the rooms using keyless entry (same as front door and lobby door). Means one less item to worry about keeping safe.
