Welcome to Humble Shores—an oceanfront retreat where the rhythm of the waves sets the tone for your stay. Whether you’re here to whale-watch with coffee in hand, battle it out on the giant wall Scrabble board, or find stillness in the yoga studio, this is your gateway to true Island living.
Set on a private oceanfront lot, the home features sweeping views of the Georgia Strait and Coast Mountains, often visited by whales, otters, seals, and passing cruise ships. Two full-length oceanview decks and a beachfront cabana let you take it all in—sunrises, sea life, and salty air included.
The space is designed for comfort, connection, and quiet luxury. Upstairs features an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining space with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and panoramic windows. Downstairs includes a cozy TV room, workspace, two bedrooms, and access to a second deck and yard. Bedrooms include a king suite with walk-in shower and private oceanfront deck access, a queen room, a double room, and an additional Murphy bed in the open loft.

Seamless check-in and check-out and a breathtaking view as soon as you walk through the front door. Location is quiet, close to great walking trails, and only 15 minutes to all the amenities in either Comox or Courtney. Home is very clean and spacious with a beautiful primary suite. Kitchen is modern and has everything including 2 full-size refrigerators. Beach is accessible from a landscaped yard. All in all, it was hard to leave after just 3 days; we could have stayed here much longer and will likely try to return.

This cottage is the perfect location for great family times and a take off point for all the local things to do. We loved sitting together out at the rocky beach or on either level of patio. Great comfy outdoor seating and fire options. The living room has a massive window and telescope. My husband and myself watched the sun rise. The primary bedroom room is very luxurious. The patios are very safe for children but the rocky beach might not work for a toddler. If we were in the area we would definitely stay here again. Our favourite day trip was to Brown’s falls near Comox for an old fashion swimming hole ans waterfall.

Beautiful property with superb ocean views - we could look out at the sea all day. Beach access made it even better. The property was spacious and well equipped, everything you could want in the kitchen. Courtenay and Comox are lovely and there is so much to see and do in the area, our party ranged in age from 12 to 81 and we all had a fantastic and relaxing vacation.
