Layout of home was comfortable. Furniture comfortable.
The mattress in the downstairs bedroom was stained and had no mattress cover. The pillows were stained yellow. No dish towels to dry dishes. No dish soap. Needed to bring everything except the salt and pepper but we knew that ahead of arriving. There was toilet paper and glad for that!

We needed a place on Salt Spring Island, so this was perfect
The layout of the cabin is very open, there are no doors into the bedrooms. That makes it hard to keep noises, heat, smells and light out when you want to sleep. The master bathroom has glass instead of a real wall - no privacy! And any light in the bathroom illuminates the bedroom area and disturbs the person trying to sleep. These design features are not evident from the photos in the ad.

Loved the location and how close it was to the town and the lake!
Beautiful home! I loved the cottage! Only tip I would given is to bring your own pillow if you don't like puffy pillows! Otherwise it was awesome and super helpful staff with fun activities all over the propery

We love the location of this property and have stayed two times before. It’s secluded and beautiful by the lake. The beds were comfortable and enjoyed the bath products included.
The property was looking very worn. The front steps need to be painted and the downstairs walk out wasn’t swept. Everything is dated and there was too much furniture crammed in the living room. No blankets available to use out on the deck. The electric kettle was broken and the kitchen table was wobbly. It was quite dusty and needed a good clean in the corners. Nothing major but feeling like it’s in need of some updates.
