Second staying at these cabins. Both times were in pet friendly units, but without a pet. I have to say that this time the condition of cabin was not that great. Although animals are not allowed on furniture, the couch and seats in the living room were grossly stained. Felt like a poor student furniture rather than a grown up space to sit and hang out. At that price that shouldnt be a thing. You would expect clean furniture. We had a lakeview cabin with no lake view. Although we had a beautiful forest view, there was absolutely no lake view. Entrance was presented with plenty of spider webs. Lastly, mold in the shower. Plus side we got to canoe and bbq by the lake. A good stay, but condition of that unit was not worth it compared to a much nicer unit we got at our last visit. I know they are individually owned and it differs, but cleanliness should be standard and same in any units.

My brothers and I spent the weekend at the Cottages celebrating our birthdays. It was peaceful and the scenery was stunning. The weather was quite warm so we went for a quick swim in the lake. The beds were very comfortable and we all had great sleeps, the tree frogs sang all night. Very close to Ganges and long harbour. We would come again.

This was a beautiful property. Check-in was easy. The unit was clean with good amenities. Beautiful lake front view and access to the dock. Comfortable beds. very polite and helpful communication but would like communication to be consistently quicker (sometimes it took a full day for a request to change check in or check out or ask for items).

I could have loved it if it wasnt for a couple things. Check in was a hassle. We did not get an email prior with the door access code. I had to call the day above, and it took a while for them to respond. I sent a private message through hotels, and did not get anything. Texted and called hours prior to check in and no answer. No one was in the office even during office hours. Eventually someone responded, but it took too long. Lastly, we loved the place and the location. The canoing and paddle boarding was definitely a plus, but the place was ant infested. It didnt get too much in the way of our experience, since i had low pest expectations for cabins, but for people who hate bugs, there were atleast 50 surround the bed, and a couple ants on the bed. I pulled down the blinds and 12 dropped to the floor.

Great location. Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Gorgeous lake and stunning views. Did not like the late check in time, waiting around until dinner time to check in isn’t good value to the customer. Lake equipment was nice however there were limited oars so you couldn’t use them all. BBQ could use some cleaning.

Overall, really loved the cottages, it was quiet, peaceful, and convenient location, just a few minutes from the Grange. Units are very nicely laid out. Only unpleasant thing about my stay was that on 1st night, there was no water pressure in the showers. It was fixed on 2nd night but nevertheless, a bit of inconvenience.

The property was modern with great views. Water did not work for the tub/shower in one bathroom. Was not fixed which was a little disappointing. Was told there would possibly be a discount applied but it did not show up in the final billing. Regardless I would still stay there again because everything else was really great.

The place was very nice and private. The place was really clean except for the spare blankets and sheets.They were missed by the staff from the last stay I assume and were quite dirty. They had a washer/dryer so had to do a load upon arrival but it's the off-season so most likely overworked cleaners. Anyways the place was clean and lovely. Would definitely go back!

The cottage setting is lovely. The duplex was comfortable, clean and had plenty of room. An area of great concern is the walkway from the car park to our duplex #18. There is no light along the pathway and it is pitch dark by 5:00 when you check in. There is no actual walkway either so one has to stagger their way down an uneven, slippery decline past low hanging tree branches to locate the porch steps. One night I slipped and fell. Another issue is all the work required of you as a paying guest. We had to strip our own beds, do all the dishes without a dishwasher (leaving us to wonder how clean they were when we arrived), collect all our own garbage and recycling and dump AND SORT IT on our way out. There are plenty of other lovely places we could rent where we would not be required to do the work of the housekeeping staff.

We went in November. The place was easy to find and access to the cottage was close to unloading the car. Loved the separation of the two bedrooms and even on a cloudy day there is enough windows to lighten up the cottage. Loved the balcony when the sunshine came out one morning. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Salt Spring. Thanks

This is a fantastic place to visit if you are looking for peace and quiet! The cottage was lovely and had all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. The cottage is nestled in amongst the trees with a great view of the lake. The property is incredibly quiet!

Local soaps smelled delicious. Stocked kitchen and beds that were so comfy! We had such a wonderful time playing in the lake by day and listening to the frogs sing us to sleep. Wonderful place to stay!
